Ser Terrowin charges towards you with surprising quickness. Full plate and a large sword, yet he moves as if he had neither. He swings his sword at you in a horizontal slash. His attack is fast, but you've never been described as slow. You duck backwards, avoiding contact, and jab with a thrust. Your blade bounces off of his chest plate—little chance of piercing that.
He circles his blade around for another strike that nearly takes your head. You dip down just in time and pop your shield up to alter his blow. The attack clips your shield, forcing you to use all your strength to keep hold. If he were to directly hit your shield, it would likely break your arm.
He thrusts, and you dodge and counter, instinctively cutting at the back of his leg to no effect. Ser Terrowin sends a flurry of blows—an overhand strike, several thrusts, and some circling slashes—but you manage to dodge them all.
"Be a good cunt and let me fuck you," you hear muffled under his helm. He may not be tiring, but at least he's frustrated. His offensive continues as his strikes back you towards a wall. You roll under a horizontal slash, but he follows through, using his momentum, to quickly slash again. You barely step back to avoid it, but he makes contact with your shield, sending it flying across the room in a useless bunch of iron.
You retreat to the stairs. Having lost your shield, you decided height would be your advantage. Those who have the higher ground have the better chance. Then again, you only have a thin rapier, and him, full armor, a shield in itself, and a sword that would cleanly cut you whole. You ascend the stairs, with Ser Terrowin following.
