Chapter 5 by Suvinceus Suvinceus

Meanwhile...

Slattery's Deal

At the estate, Slattery and Delores were having coffee in the living room and discussing a possibility of siding with the Warriors. They both knew that Lisa and her friends were on good terms with them at the burner competition when it was crashed by the Rogues, and were confident in convincing them to help out.

"I suggest you call up their warchief and see if he can hook you up." Delores said.

"That sounds like a fine idea." Slattery replied.

"Hey, Mom! Dad! I'm gonna go out to Coney for a little sightseeing. I'll be back in a jiff, don't worry!" Lisa said as she entered the living room.

"Very well. Just be careful out there, Lisa." Delores told her with a smile.

Lisa then got her purse, containing some money as well as a spare can of spray paint, and exited the estate.

Arriving at Coney Island, Lisa had bought herself some ice cream for herself, and went on her way. However, she was miles away from the Warriors's turf, and suddenly came across a few Warriors.

"So we haven't seen the last of Psychosis, I bet he's still reeling from that defeat the other day!" Snow said.

"Yeah, but the Crescent Moons were quite helpful in getting them out of there. Maybe we're not the only gang that's after 'em." Rembrandt replied.

"But you know that the Crescent Moons have some problem with the Moonrunners. Those kids in silver keep saying the Crescent Moons stole their name, but they didn't." Cochise added.

"Hey, it's that girl!" Rembrandt called out, pointing towards Lisa, who immediately ran up to them to greet them.

"Um, hi...uh, you must be those Warriors from Coney Island? My father has heard a lot about you guys." Lisa said. She then took notice of Rembrandt and asked, "Hey, do you remember me?"

"I know you, you're that girl that laid that cool burner the other day. What's up?" Rembrandt replied.

"Really? You weren't so bad yourself. I guess we do have one thing in common, don't we?" Lisa said with a broad smile.

"You know, we can convince Swan that you guys can help us take down the Rogues. Whaddaya think?" Cochise asked.

"Of course! I'd like that! In fact, my father was planning to call him up." Lisa replied with a grin.

"Great! Hopefully, he'll take notice. Thanks, Lisa." Rembrandt said with a small smile.

"Right on. Hey, can I come and visit you guys any time?" Lisa asked.

"Sure." Rembrandt replied.

"Allright, thanks!" Lisa said before she went off on her way.

Meanwhile, at the Warriors's turf, Rembrandt and the others were about to notify Swan about the Crescent Moons serving as allies, when Swan heard the phone ring. "Hey, Swan! You got a phone call from someone." Mercy called out.

"Sure, Mercy. I'll be right there." Swan replied before approaching the corded red phone.

As he answered the phone, Slattery asked, "Hello, is this the warchief of the Warriors? I'd like an audience with him."

"Yes, this is Swan. You must be Slattery, leader of the Crescent Moons." Swan replied.

"Well, you can use our company if you want to waste the Rogues. After all, the more ally gangs you have, the better chance of wasting enemy gangs. In fact, we have enemies of our own, too: the South Beach Warlords, the Corporate Crooks from Old Town, and those pesky slandering Moonrunners. Do you accept my offer?" Slattery asked with a smirk.

Swan looked at the rest of the Warriors, then Mercy, and then replied to Slattery, "Fine. But there's one thing you gotta do if you want our full and complete trust."

"Really? What's that?" Slattery asked.

"You need to seek out the following gangs: the Kips Bay Flames, the Little Italy Bluebirds, the Soiled Doves of Jamaica, the Yellowjackets from Mill Basin, the Five Points Shamrocks, the Robbery Elite from Lower East Side, and the Yorkville Razors. Depending on what choices you make, you can convince these gangs to trust you, although I'd be careful around the Razors. Those kids are extremely mean-spirited and will always put up a fight." Swan explained.

"Sounds real good. I'll take it." Slattery replied.

"Good. Don't disappoint us, old man." Swan said before hanging up the phone.

"Did you get his approval?" Delores asked.

"Of course I did, sweetheart. Now we gotta confront these gangs, and probably make friends and enemies outta them along the way." Slattery replied.

"Right on." Delores said with a seductive smile before kissing him sweetly.

"Yo, you still wanna convince Angela to take you back?"

"I dunno, chances are she'll still hate me."

"C'mon, man! You know you can sweep her off your feet again!"

"Allright, allright! Jesus, you don't have to coerce me, for god's sake."

"Right. Now we gotta find out if she's in Sea Gate. You still got her phone number, right?"

"Mmhmm."

"Good. Don't let me down."

A few days later...
