Shopping Trip Once Again

Walt blinked looking at his assembled "helpers" for the upcoming shopping trip.

"Something wrong?" Baroness asked adjusting her glasses with one hand and a smirk while placing the other on her shapely hip.

Walt shook his head looking at her , Pirotess, Meridia and Mystique who was smirking. "No. Nothing wrong. Just a bit surprised. But if you want to help that's fine by me. Thank you."

Pirotess crossed her arms which unintentionally(?) drew his gaze to the deep plunging V of her outfit and the darkelf's lovely exposed skin and figure. She huffed deeply which did delightful things with her anatomy looking away. "I'm not doing it for you, human."

"Och dinnae be lik' that," Merida said smiling. She'd dressed sensibly for in a green flannel plaid over a dark top and jean shorts with boots. Walt smiled it was a simple but good look on her. "Ye said ye wur curious aboot whit wis "out there"! This is yer chance tae fin' oot fur yerself." Merida smiled. "Ah loue it 'ere masell bit ye should git out in about on Prime and she th' sights ye ken? Better'n that gammy trash world! An th' weddin' were fine an' Awl but..." She saw she'd lost the others again...

... but Walt was smiling at her. "But those were unique situations and you want your friend to experience more, right?"

Merida grinned and nodded. "Aye, that's right!"

"See?" Mystique said before walking away with a flippant wave. "Have fun!"

Pirotess looked like she was going to retort further but saw Sienna was also watching and grinning and she shut her mouth. "Damn Tiger," she muttered... but smiled. Her "friends", whether she wanted them or not, were trying to help her. Anastasia, the so called "Baroness", had managed to enter a truce of sorts with Walt. There was some kind of... *Respect,* she thought. The beginning of a camaraderie of sorts. She understood that. Her game with Harley was technically over but Lifts-Her-Tail had asked if she'd go along with the maids... and Anastasia had actually agreed.

Then lately Demona's attitude had... shifted. Likely because Walt had let her move out too. He was also helping her create her "rookery". Demonas mood had definitely improved and she seemed to be growing closer to Penny. Had she actually made a friend?

And then there was Mystique. The mutant had gradually expressed less of an unpleasant demeanor. First with that dog, then again with Penny and then, most surprisingly of all, with Walt. And they'd ALL appreciated that! She'd become less of a... *A bit less of a raging human bitch,* she thought, the corners of her mouth lifting ever so slightly.

She too had changed bit by bit though and she was cognizant of that fact. Walter had... admirable qualities. He treated her well, made few demands upon her, helped her connect to this wonderful land where the spirits were happy, gave her a peaceful place in it and she'd even found companionship that she hadn't been looking for and yet...!

*And nothing,* she thought irritated with herself and trying not examine "and" too closely. But the thought of *and...?* was persistent of late. Walt was... not unattractive amongst his qualities. By all accounts he was a talented, skillful, vigorous and vital lov- man! Human! And he was generous, thoughtful and giving. Yet also hard...unyielding. Fierce. And as passionate as he was disciplined and that and so much more made her excited for the upcoming fantasy world excursion! When, if, she went with him she could...!!! *Stop thinking about... "that"!" She mentally chided herself. *I just want to repay my slight debt to him and get some exercise and travel... nothing more! And "this" running of errands is simply a continuing of our alliance with Anastasia and nothing more!*

Walt turned to the next pair of helpers, Haruhime and Haruna. He looked at the young fox like Renard and goblin ladies. "And are you two sure you want to come along as well?"

"Yes Master Walter," they said bowing.

"The Head Maid and others requested that we provide you assistance in the fetching of supplies, Master," Haruhime said the lovely picture of dignity and grace in her kimono with an apron over it.

"That's right, Master!" Haruna said bit less formally than her friend but full of exuberant charm and warmth in her maid outfit. "We're here to help! Also, if it's not too much trouble, to buy some sewing supplies? The ladies are looking forward to some alterations on some of the things we bought and designed with the Fashion Fantasy folks and also for the upcoming adventures?"

Walt smiled. "That's completely fine with me! Whatever y'all need for anything, get it. I am a bit confused as to why you simply didn't order those things through them?"

Haruna smiled and nodded, holding up a finger. "I certainly could have and I'm certain they would be extremely high quality goods! But... I need to improve my own skill, you understand? I'm not as good at them or on the same level as Jame's Marinette or Lady Shuna... but I hope to be someday. So I want to work on making some of the pieces myself, get a feel for these different "modern" materials." She smiled only a bit nervously. "If that's alright and you allow it that is? I promise to be conservative in picking out the material goods. I might make mistakes and I don't want to waste your money-"

"Absolutely not," Walt said and her smile started to falter until he patted her on the head. "You're hear by authorized to buy any and all kinds of crafting materials that you think you need! Don't worry about the price. If you'd like we'll even get you some training through 3S. Experience is priceless and always a good investment in my opinion. If you, any of you, want to better yourself in anything you'll have my full support." He gently ruffled her lavender hair. "You just tell me what you need, as your "master" it's my duty to provide it. I'll be looking forward to seeing your results. Okay?"

Her cute green face lit up with a smile. She was right. He was different but still a lot like Rimuru in the best ways! Rimuru must have been "cool" like Walter when he was a human. Were all great empire building visionaries like this? "Okay! Thank you, Master Walter!" She said with a happy giggle.

Haruhime smiled seeing her friend happy. "Good for you, Haruna." But she blushed as Walt surprised her and started patting her with his other hand.

"You're both such good girls. I'm proud of the both of you and grateful for all that you do for all of us. Always. I hope you know that," he said patting and stroking her ears.

Haruhime lowered her head so her bangs hid her face from him. His kind words and acknowledgment were almost as wonderful as the gentle touch that sped up her heart and made her flush. He was touching her! Patting her like the others! Like Senko! Even though she wasn't... intimate with him. She wasn't worthy of such. Especially since it made her think about... such things!

She saw Haruna smiling at her. Watching her intently with a knowing look as her tail wagged happily back and forth. Her friend knew what she was thinking! Knew she was formerly a... a prostitute. Knew what she was... fantasizing. It was worse because he was unwittingly like her Bell that way. Sweet and unfailingly kind. Gentle. Caring... and somehow that just fanned the flames of desire for her. He never asked nor mentioned her past but simply showed his acceptance of her. Despite all her many customers and experiences in the brothel.

(While working as a prostitute, despite all her training, Haruhime would foam at the mouth and collapse whenever she saw a naked man. This continued here and made her completely unsuitable at the brothel. Due to this, she is still a virgin, but is unaware of the fact.)

"You okay, Haru?" Haruna asked leaning down, seeing her friends eyes start to swirl round and round.

"F-fine!" She said straightening up after Walt stopped patting her. It simply wouldn't do to worry the Master unduly. "I-I am quite fine, Thank you, Haru."

Walt nodded. "And you've all been briefed on the mission and location?"

"Yes," Anastasia said. "Lita and Ahnassi were quite informative."

"We learned all of the rules," Pirotess said.

"We shall follow them and your instructions," added Haruhime with Haruna nodding along.

Walt watched as a familiar looking ship approached. It was one of the fleet of Firefly vessels, the Tranquility, coming a bit faster and hotter than normal. He smirked as the pilot was a bit wild on the stick but skilled and obviously enjoying herself as she did a little spin using the twin thrusters while coming in for the landing. The bay door opened and loading ramp lowered as he heard her on the com.

"Woohoo!" Shocket said over the speakers. "I take it back. Ship might not look like much but she's agile and really moves when she wants to! Like you! AHahaha!"

Linda, who was lowering the ramp, rolled her eyes. "Gee, thanks." She waved to them. "Captains coming aboard!"

"I'm the Captain this trip," Shocket said over the speakers. "I sat in the big chair first!"

Linda smirked as the others chuckled while boarding. "I did some homework and gosh I hate to break it to you, Sis... but that just makes you the pilot, Fluff-for-brains."

"Fuck!" Shocket cursed. "Shut it ya kiss ass, Featherbutt!"

Walt smiled and patted her head. "Nicely done. I'd say you won that point, Linda."

Linda smiled. "Thanks, Cap'n! Everything checks out here. She's right too. Appearances are deceptive. She's a nice ship!"

Walt nodded. "Yes they are. They don't look impressive and no real firepower but the Firefly models are impressive and reliable workhorses. Quick, nimble and reliable with a good pilot and mechanic aboard."

Linda blushed and grinned at the compliments and so did her sister up on the bridge. "All set?"

Walt nodded. "Sure... all set. Take us up, if you would?."

"You got it!" Shocket said over the coms. "Already laid in a course for Costco!"

Walt sighed. "Adventures in Buying in Bulk 2: Electric Boogaloo."
