No Disturbance

As the day’s light reached your face through the tent’s thin silk and the sound of birds and bugs chirping in the trees reached your ears, you lazily squirmed off the warm sleeping bag and welcomed the cold morning air. With a yawn and a shiver, you ate the leftovers from dinner and undid your tent and less than 15 minutes from when you woke up, you got back into the road.

After half an hour, you spotted a sign signalizing the nearby city, “Bellawho”. It would still take you some time to reach there, but seeing even a small sign of civilization was a relief. The city of Bellawho had a port for the DeepBlue, a huge lake that was constantly filled with merchant boats, which docked into the city’s port, making it a very busy town, with different kinds of people, shops, and even some monster girls and futas who lived peacefully among humans.

“Perfect place to buy a real sword. And perhaps even find my first real job as an adventurer!” You thought to yourself, touching the cable of your wooden sword, useful against some bandits but you doubted if that could have any use against a monster. However, as you heard the sound of heavy hooves approaching your location, you wondered if its utility would be put to a test!
