Not where either of them expect.

"I just- uh, let me go to the bathroom. Sorry. Just a quick one." Davin shuffled awkwardly past her and rushed out, leaving Naomi alone with her thoughts.

She looked around without judgment. The state of Davin's room would ordinarily disgust her, but right now it was just registering as things that were bad for Davin's health or hygiene. These were things to fix soon, but Naomi was currently focusing on short-term goals.

She spread out on his bed in a way she thought might be sexy. She really didn't have much experience but she tried to do a pose like she'd recently seen on a men's magazine cover. After a few moments, Davin walked back in and yelped, apparently shocked by her attractiveness. Naomi gave herself a little mental attagirl.

"Ok, Naomi, listen..." he said. Every now and then his eyes would briefly flick up to her eyes as he spoke. It was nice of him to try. "I don't think we should, um, keep having sex right now. I think it's, maybe, um- inappropriate."

Naomi swore internally. She had made fun of him coming in his pants! How could she be so stupid? "Davin, I'm really sorry. I want to make it up to you. What can I do?"

He looked at her like a deer caught in the headlights. "Movie?"

Davin picked out a movie, some sci-fi thing with Tom Cruise they had both already seen. As the credits started he began asking questions.

"So Naomi," he asked, "if you don't mind me asking, why were you so sexually aggressive with me?"

She shrugged. She knew exactly why, but she had to ease him into this. "I don't know, I guess I just like you."

"But why?" he asked incredulously. "We just met!"

Naomi decided to spill the beans, at least partially. "I don't know, ever since we bumped into each other I've liked you. I think when I touched you something happened to me. I'm not sure what, but I don't mind it."

Davin looked worried, the exact opposite of how she wanted him to look. She began to rub his shoulders gently while Tom Cruise darted between parked cars in a shootout onscreen.

"Look, it's not a big deal, ok? I know you're a good guy."

"How?" he replied. "We just met. How could you possibly know that?"

"Well, for starters, you've got a beautiful girl willing to do anything with you and your first response is to worry if she's ok," she said sweetly.

"I don't know, Naomi. I'm worried because you said you'd do anything for me. That's not normal."

She struggled to think of a way to reassure this poor guy. For her part, Naomi had never felt better. He was really hung up on her being completely subordinate to him - she needed a way to reframe the whole relationship. Before she could come up with a response, his doorbell chimed.
