Fresh Faced Adventurers

Your group is one of the many who believe they have what it takes to be adventurers of the guild. You all wish to go on quests, slay monsters and bandits, make riches as well as a name for yourselves, and be infamous. But before all that...

You have to start from the beginning. Choose the class you wish to be and make a path for yourselves. Do the job right and get well rewarded. But sometimes, there might be alternatives. After all, the guild doesn't have to know that you let some of those bandits go for a bribe, do they? Or that you didn't exterminate every single spider in that cave? The choice is yours.

So, make your choice on your class and go have fun!

With that, the voice cutout and left the group within their pitch black and dead silent headsets. However, it didn't last long. On each of their views, the black slowly lit up, revealing a vast canvas of white. The floor they were standing on was white tile and the ceiling went twenty feet up, lined with lights. The "room" they seemed to be in stretched out in every direction with no wall in sight.

The group themselves stood amongst each other in the suits they put on earlier. "Must be the lobby area," Alex chuckled, looking at the ground beneath him and stomping on it. "Wow. I didn't even notice when I got pulled into the game. I can actually feel the ground beneath my feet."

Nick chuckled and touched the fabric of the suit he had on before he looked up and pointed behind Lucas, making everyone turn to look.

Floating in mid air were a bunch of words, all about two feet apart from each other. Taking a closer look, everyone realized that it was the options for what roles they could be. As they look at each role, a small description pops up before their eyes:

-Warrior: With strength and maybe a little strategy, you use your sword and shield to push through any enemy before you. Unfortunately, you're not known for being very fast.

-Thief: With cunning and stealth, you avoid your enemy's gaze. With your knife and cloak, you stab the enemy from behind before they even know you were there. But you make sure to never be spotted. If they catch you, you're not very good at an actual fight.

-Ranger: With your agility and accuracy, your able to get to whatever heights you need to get your shot. With your bow and knowledge of hunting, your prey never see the arrow coming. You just make sure to stay in the backline. If the enemy gets too close, the fight might end quickly.

-Sorcerer: Born with magical abilities, you tend to be the most powerful when it comes to magic. You usually master one type of magic very easily. The other ones, however... tend to be very tricky to deal with and cost a lot of energy.

-Wizard: With your knowledge of magic, you almost always have a spell for the situation. Though it might not be as powerful as a sorcerer's, the diversity of your spells allows you to rival even their magic.

-Healer: No team is complete without its support. You selflessly make sure that your team has everything they need, whether it's to keep them healthy or to watch their backs. With your Staff of Restoration, no harm shall come to them so long as you are around.

The group looked at the classes, everyone thinking about what they'd like to choose. Alex was the first to speak up. "Alright, everyone. Our best bet is that someone pick a support. That way, no matter what happens, we have a healer."

Everyone but Yasmine nodded. The older girl sighed and walked up to the classes. "Whatever, let's just go."

As she walked up, she reached her hand forward, not paying attention to what class she was picking. The group tried to stop her from making a rash decision but it was too late.
