On Friday afternoon, as you’re wrapping up your work, your phone rings. You see Lisa Tran’s name on the caller ID and quickly pick up.

“Hi, Alex. How’s it going?” Lisa’s cheerful voice greets you.

“Hey, Lisa! I’m good, thanks. How about you?”

“I’m great. Listen, I’m cooking some Vietnamese pho at my place tomorrow afternoon, and I’d love for you and Sarah to join. I also have some ideas for the fashion show that I want to discuss with you both.”

“That sounds fantastic,” you reply, feeling excited. “Let me check with Sarah, and I’ll get back to you.”

You find Sarah at her desk and explain the invitation. She smiles and nods. “Pho? Count me in! I’ve been craving some good Vietnamese food. I believe that she's a good cook!”

With Sarah’s confirmation, you return to your desk and call Lisa back. “Hey, Lisa. I just checked with Sarah, and she’ll be there too. We’re both looking forward to it.”

“Great! See you both tomorrow at 12 Noon,” Lisa says before hanging up.

You feel a sense of anticipation as you head home that evening. The week has been productive, and now you have something fun to look forward to over the weekend.
