Dawn accepts the answer for now

"Okay... I'm willing to accept that " Dawn answered and watched her mother's expression shift ever so slightly. Was that not the answer she was expecting to get here? Or was there something else in play?

Hard to say. Tempted as Dawn was to ponder, she decided against it.

"I'm happy to hear that, dear." Johanna answered and shifted her attention to the task she was doing before her daughter had rudely interrupted her.

As for Dawn, a sigh escaped her lips. By no means fully convinced, perhaps it was good to go and see Julia now and perhaps try to connect with her.
