She runs, but without her clothes ... or bag

Panicked, and thankful that everything was still dark, Jessica dropped her clothes and made a mad dash to the front of the room. The student, meanwhile, stared in wide-eyed silence watching her graceful form dash across the side of the room.

Jessica opted for speed rather than subtlety, quickly opening the door, squeaking out, and closing it. The lights were still off, so the students heard a commotion but didn't see the cause.

Jessica stopped in the hallway to catch her breath, her gears spinning at the ordeal. That's when she realized, with a pit in her stomach, that she had left her clothes and backpack in the room, whose lights she could see were turning back on.

She spent the next thirty seconds debating what to do as she saw from the side window her fellow students getting up and getting ready to leave. They were chatting to each other - was it about her escape? She hoped to god that no one would look out through that window to see her frozen in place and bare naked for the world to see. Oh god, what was that other student going to say about her?

Should she rush back in, get dressed, rush back out, and hope for anything other than whatever complete worst-case scenario that entailed? Or should she wait in the bathroom until all the students left before getting her stuff, rushing everything in the sweet time between their departure and the arrival of the students coming in for the next class? Better still, should she go to her locker and get gym clothes? That seemed like the best option, but her locker was by a four-way intersection of hallways and if she didn't make it in time more people would see her.

Before she could decide what to do, the bell rang and the first student was walking up to the door.
