The Mystery Room
Susie twisted and turned, looking this way and that. The room had sides. How many sides, she couldn't tell. Certainly more than four, which she had always thought was a normal room number. The walls were midnight blue, painted all over with question marks, and each one had a door in it.
She shivered. It was a little chilly in the room. Bonnie was looking at the doors, reading the writing on each one. A single word, engraved in neat capitals on a copper place.
She wasn't sure how many doors there were, or which one she and Bonnie had come in by. Something about this room gave her the creeps. It was like time itself was confused here. But she knew they had to pick a door to get out.
