Try and work out where the prank is here, because it's clearly a prank.

After everything that's been running rampant through your head all day, this is what makes you stop in your tracks. You can't think of a single way to rationalise what Alexandra is doing. She's cornered you, left you at her mercy… and is now disrobing. This doesn't make sense is the phrase that dominates your thoughts.

“This doesn’t make sense”, says one iteration of that phrase, escaping your lips to be heard out loud.

Alexandra seems to pause in the moment again. You've just watched her shrug off her white uniform shirt, revealing a daring and well-filled-out leopard print bra (which, admittedly, had been clearly visible under said shirt all day) - but all of that has stopped. Her eyebrow raises, and she's now looking at you like you've got two heads.

“What’s wrong? Makes perfect sense to me,” she retorts, notably in a less hostile tone than you would have expected. “Meet a new girl, show her that she’s welcome here, and then take her to a private place and sex her up. It’s, like, the perfect introduction! I got that treatment on my first day, from Belinda in the second year - she’s an absolute darling, you should meet her - and I thought, why not pay it forward, right?”

Your mind races again, but in a different way from before. This girl is stripping in front of you because she wants to... get intimate. Now, that doesn't make sense. The idea of someone even wanting to perform such an act with you is something your mind can't even countenance. There is another assumption being made here too, and you raise your hand just a little.

“So, uh… what made you assume I wouldn't be taken, or that I'd be interested?" You're aware as soon as you say it that you've set yourself up perfectly to be insulted.

“Uh, hello?” Alexandra giggles at what is apparently another stupid question. “You know how completion schools work, right? It's really free-love. Everyone is open to everyone, and everyone's gay for everyone too. I saw a whole bunch of pretty young ladies eyeing you up all day - they were probably all thinking of how they could have you to themselves! Just a shame you always turned away, before they could engage. Now you’re stuck with little old me, huh?”

It felt like something that should lift a weight off your shoulders, one that's been clinging to you for so long, but you just need it confirmed… “So… you didn’t want to bully me?”

Alexandra giggles again, but it's a different tone from before. Feels... warm, and caring? It's not something with which you're familiar. “Aha, no, sweetie… None of us wanted to bully you…” And she leans in, finishing her statement with a low whisper into your ear, in a way that puts goosebumps all over your skin. “We wanted to induct you.”
