Alex and his friends

Alex was a well known beta tester when it came to video games. He's the reason he got his two buddies, Nick and Lucas, to start doing it as well. Together, they tested all kinds of devices and video games. Of course, they couldn't exactly talk about them with people with the NDLs they had to sign, but it was still a pretty cool job.

So when Alex heard about this new device, he immediately applied, mentioning his friends as well as any pertinent information he thought might be useful.

Then he got the email, telling him that not only was he allowed but so were his friends. What surprised him, though, was the fact that the company allowed him to bring up to four people with him. He only had his two friends that were gamers. Who else could he bring?

His mind immediately flashed to Allison, his girlfriend. She was a very positive person and, though she didn't really play video games, this game was unlike anything they'd ever seen before. Surely she couldn't be that bad. Not to mention, they were getting paid for their time using the system.

But his mind drew a blank for the last person. That is, until Lucas helped him out with that little dilemma and recommended his sister.

Lucas's sister, Yasmin, was four years older than him and not exactly the best older sister. Well, to Lucas. Alex and Nick never really had a problem with her. But Lucas was hoping that by inviting her, he could get her to understand why he likes video games and maybe get her to actually be more friendly to him. Plus, he knew Yasmin wouldn't mind the money.

So after getting everything setup, Alex and his friends hopped in a car and took a ride for a couple hours to get to the company.
