Nova (In the Lounge)

Our farm girl finds herself in the Lounge. The smoky atmosphere envelops a dimly lit bar at the back of the room. A poker table takes center stages, and plays host to the room's central puzzle. A billiard table and dartboard flank the walls on either side of the poker game.

The room has a singular obvious doorway to the North Wing. There is also a secret exit to the Laundry room, if the correct puzzles are completed.

Given the many interactable features and small size of the area, the Lounge is densely packed with traps and hinderances. It may be wise for a contestant to escape as quickly as possible, and search for helpful items elsewhere. However, if the contestant persists and solves the central puzzle, they'll earn a considerable advantage over their opponent.

Help:

• Tainted Whiskey: This spirit is some seriously strong stuff. Even if a contestant can stay standing after one glass, their cognition and coordination will be seriously hampered. While that's not ideal for oneself, a flask of the stuff could very easily incapacitate a foe if used offensively.
• Sleep Darts: One prick from the darts on the dartboard will send an unsuspecting victim to dreamland. An ambush with one of these can win a fight before it even begins, or they could be an ace up the sleeve if caught unawares.
• Trump Card: Successfully completing the central puzzle will award a player with a Trump Card. This powerful token can be spent to remove any bondage equipment applied to the owner and apply it to their opponent. This effect can be used up to three times before the token must be discarded.

Hinderance:

• The Devil's Game: The central puzzle of the room is a rigged game. The computer will deal the player preselected cards that look like excellent poker hands, but unless the player cheats by finding aces hidden about the room, they will always loose. Each round will require the player to "pay-in" by handing over an article of clothing. If the contestant should find themselves completely nude, the may continue the game by applying bondage equipment provided by the table. An unwary player may quickly find themselves in a tight situation if they play their cards wrong.
• Wrong pocket: A game of 8-ball has been set up at the pool table. Successfully completing the game will periodically award the contestant with Aces and Face cards for the poker game. However, scratching a shot will cause the table to release a burst of itching powder, irritating the unskilled. If a player knocks the wrong ball into a pocket (7 before 5 for example), the ball in question will be primed to release a powerful adhesive. Once the player reaches into the pocket to retrieve the ball, they'll find it impossible to let go.
• Off target: A game of darts patiently waits for the player near the bar. A list of scores and rewards sits next to the darts to be used. Winning the game awards cards for poker, and a high score nets a set of sleeping darts. However, failure to hit the minimum score will result in a penalty. The player will be tagged with sleeping darts. When they awake, they'll find a mask with distorting lenses locked around their pretty little heads. These lenses provided a warped perspective, making it difficult to walk straight, let alone complete any task with finesse.

Our lovely contestant is led into her starting area. The blindfold comes off, and the buzzer sounds. The game is on. Nova takes a moment to drink in her surroundings. Plush leather seating, a hint of cigars in the air. A full bar. Poker. Billiards. Darts. Familiar trappings in a ritzy paintjob. No foes or dangers immediately in sight. The blonde brought a finger to her lips as she began contemplating her next move.
