From to peace, Fuck yeah!

Man, I have so many options. Even tho I'm new to this world, this "perception control" power that Alice gave me is making it easier to get by with people and learn information about this place. It is one thing to be a fan of fantasy worlds, it's another thing actually to be the one living in one and feeling this... Free.

While I stop the groping of Ennie (at least for now) to ask her and Joff some more questions, I ask them "So y'all mentioned that you two are going to that city, right?" I point towards the tall buildings in the distance.

They both nod their heads, Joff says "Well, I have to, most of my sales come from the citizens nearby." Then Ennie adds "And he already paid me so I have to make sure he and his items arrive safely to Rhona."

I think "Hmmm... They could probably help me to save some time."

So I asked them "Hey, Could you two take me to the city? I also need to go to this Rhona city."

Joff smiles and says "Sure pal, hop in and we'll be there in no time."

I then hop on top of Ennie, sitting behind Joff. Once I properly sat down, Ennie then continued to walk forward, following the road to Rhona.

While Ennie continues galloping, I ask her some questions. "So Ennie, Do people pay you to transport heavy stuff around?" She then answers me while moving "Uh? Yes!... Is part of my family business; if you ever need help moving furniture, heavy products, weapons, or something else, just ask me and you'll be there in no time."

Hmmm... Interesting, I guess having horse muscles has an advantage.

"Also Mr.Joff Could you tell me more about this Rhona?" I asked him while I looked at the city. Joff then says "Well, here you only come for 3 things: To register as a hero, work as a soldier, or do business with tourists, you can find strangers from every kingdom."

"Register as a hero?" I think about what he said. Because if seeing trash reincarnation shows told me anything... Is that 'You have always to find the guild.

But before I could ask him more about it, we heard a loud...

BOOM!

Ennie screamed "AH!" and stopped suddenly. An explosion occurred instantly in front of us. Both Joff and I leaned back from the momentum, thankfully we didn't fall. Joff asks "What the-" As the smoke settles, we all begin to see something.

3 people appeared in front of us. They're dressed all in black with some silver metal protection. 2 of them have golden daggers with chains and one of them holds a golden-colored gun pointing it at Joff's direction.

Joff is scared while I'm trying to process what the fuck is happening. I ask Joff "Do you know them?" and he answers "No, they're thieves." I then look at them and notice how they're dressed in an all-black outfit with facemasks; it seems like the thieves with the golden daggers are men and the one with the golden gun is a woman.

"Now, let's be quick! Give me the money before I lose my patience." The woman says with a confident tone. One of the male thieves says to Ennie "You heard her, hand us the bag and avoid the stab." While placing his dagger close to Ennie's neck, Ennie is mad at him but doesn't say a word.

I then hop off onto the ground and decide to take matters into my own hands. I ordered before that all my actions would be perceived as common sense, but I wonder if my order is already affecting the thieves even tho I hadn't ordered anything directly from them beforehand.

But my question is immediately answered as one of the thieves walks past me, bumping my shoulder and immediately making me fall to the ground. "Where is it old man?" the thief asked. Joff then answers "Hey hey! Be careful; there is no need to be violent, the money... Is in the back." He says reluctantly to the thief.

But then I quickly stood up and grabbed the thief's arm. I told him "Hey! Drop that knife!" Then I look at the male and female thieves "And you two, also drop your weapons!"

My heart is racing, this is my first conflict in this world and I hope this works because I have near zero fighting skills. Thankfully, the 3 thieves proceeded to drop their weapons to the ground, NOW we're talking.

After that, I ask the female thief "You almost killed me with that explosion BITCH! Were you even gonna let us go?" And she nonchalantly answers "It depends if you cooperate or not, violent rats normally get a hole in between their brain, but it's annoying afterward because of all the mess, so it depends on the situation."

It goes without saying, that I'm still mad because of the explosion (definitely I wasn't close to pissing myself), so I ordered the 3 thieves "Take off your masks." They're a bit surprised since they never revealed their identities to anyone, but they had no issue doing it to me. The 2 male thieves had a couple of scars on their faces; the one with black hair had one on his chin and the one with brown hair had his scar close to his eye.

However, when I looked at the female thief, my eyes opened wide open. She was a woman with short black hair, brown caramel-like skin, beautiful green eyes, and a scar across the right cheek across her face. Her ear also had a small cut, maybe she survived a sword fight and the blade nearly beheaded her.

I asked her "What's your name?" and she answered "I... My name is Delilah." I then asked, "Okay Delilah, Could you tell me why a hot chick like you is a thief? Like couldn't you be a model or something?"

Delilah rolls her eyes and answers me "Thanks for the compliment but when you grew up in a slum, get into a couple of fights, killed a drunk bastard who tried to **** you, and then become a wanted criminal... I don't have the best work resume, do I?"

I then blinked twice and said "Fair enough... Are these guys like your friends or...?" She then looks at the thieves and says "Them? We're just partners in this crime, they provide locations, and I give them weapons."

...

Meanwhile, Joff and Ennie are seeing me having this conversation. Out of curiosity, Ennie asks me "Eh, Mister! What are you doing?" I then answer "I'm just... Uh, negotiating with these guys, don't worry about it, I almost solved this issue!" Ennie is still a bit confused but she accepts what I said.

After talking a bit more with Delilah I learned that she doesn't have the best relationship with her family after her father passed away, and after the incident with the **** happened, she couldn't get back home because she didn't want to involve her family in this issue.

I then asked her "So you urgently need money and this is why you're doing it?" She then angrily answers "Yeah, yeah... You can save me the 'killing and stealing is bad' speech for another day."

However, I answered "I wasn't gonna say that, I was actually gonna ask you 'How about I help you get an actual job so you don't have to do this?'" She then asks "Wait what?"
