Christmas Break: Christmas day
Jonathan and Leah had decided to spend Christmas morning in their own home and it was so very wonderful. No family drama, no putting on a façade, just them. The air was crisp and the sun was just peeking through the windows as they lounged on their plush couch, sipping on coffee and nibbling on warm cinnamon rolls that Leah had made—a family tradition she insisted on and that Jonathan had no complaints about.
They had exchanged gifts earlier in the morning, but now they were leisurely opening presents from family and friends that had made their way under the tree. Jonathan had surprised Leah with a beautiful necklace, and she had gotten him a set of personalized Dungeons and Dragons books that he had wanted. They thanked each other with heartfelt embraces and kisses, grateful for the love and thought put into each gift.
As they curled up together on the couch, Jonathan suddenly pulled Leah in for a deep kiss. She laughed and pulled away, playfully scolding him for being so bold so early in the morning. But Jonathan just grinned mischievously and whispered, "I have one more gift for you."
Leah raised an eyebrow, curious and a little nervous….
