Megan's school troubles

"Mom!" Megan whined. "You can't keep making me go to this school!"

"And why can't I young lady?" Lauren shot back, hands on her hips.

"Because I'm 19!" Megan pointed out. "I'm too old for high school!"

"It's not higschool- it's a private college prep school." Lauren pointed out. "You still have a few months before the program is over, and you certainly may not drop out!"

"But mom, that place is awful!" Megan moaned. "Look how they make me dress!"

Megan gestured at her school outfit, which consisted of a short sleeved white blouse with a ribbon on the collar and poofed sleeves, a pleated skirt, tall blue socks and black Mary Jane shoes.

"What's wrong with the uniform?" Lauren asked. "You look adorable!"

It was true: the uniform accented all of Megan's cute, youthful features. It revealed her flat her chest was, how much her slight belly bulged out, and how stubby her legs looked. That, on top of her doe eyes, wavy hair and freckles, made Megan indeed look adorable. The problem was Megan was a 19 year old young woman, and the last thing she wanted was to look adorable!

"That's not all," Megan went on, trying to convince her mother of her plight. "They're so mean there! They have all kinds of awful, embarrassing punishments..."

"Good: maybe you'll learn to stop whining." Lauren sighed, sick of her daughter's complaints.

"Now, as long as you live in my house, you'll do what I say." Lauren said firmly. "So, get ready: your ride to school should be here soon. I'm going to take a bath and I expect no more trouble from you."

Lauren stomped away up to the bathroom, leaving Megan fuming. She couldn't go back to that awful place, she'd do anything to get out of it! She had to come up with a plan, some way to not go back!
