Chapter 5 by MysticKatt MysticKatt

A busy day ahead...

Housekeeping

Ara sighed gently as her feet landed on the living room's hardwood floor. The last twenty-four hours since she'd been bought had been exhaustive and incredibly draining for her physically, not to mention mentally. She wasn't sure, but she felt the constant exhaustion was why she'd been so docile and amicable. Ara would resist if she could, but the stress and lingering doubts kept her in line this far.

Her Master had called her from her room, instructing her to dust and clean the house's first floor while he took care of business in another section of the house. That'd been twenty or so minutes prior, and she'd spent most of that time on her knees, getting dust out of every crack and every crevice, trying to ensure she was as thorough as possible.

Every time she leaned in, she'd accidentally flash her ass, an intentional choice by her Master to embarrass and humiliate her just a little bit further. Ara would pull down on the fabric, trying to keep it level with her thighs to no avail, as the skirt didn't offer much coverage to the elf. "Damn this cursed thing," she groaned, growing increasingly frustrated with the inadequacy of the dust-rag she'd been using.

Ara turned away from the shelves, satisfied, moving towards the bookcase. Most were old though neatly kept, and some intrigued her. Had she had the time, she would've likely found herself combing through the extensive pile of books. Ara continued to work dutifully, dusting the shelves and arranging the books back in the pattern she'd found them in.She'd done well with the living room, and it looked nearly pristine.

Ara left the living room, moving throughout the rest of the house as her mind wandered. Her Master was away, doing whatever he was, and she was unattended. Immediately, her attention shifted back to the front door, to what she figured would've been freedom, before returning to the present. Ahead of her, down the hallway, was a door that split off from the rest of the house, leading from what she could tell downstairs.

She approached the door, opening it as quietly as possible, and leaned her head around the door. It did lead downstairs into what she assumed was a basement or cellar of some sort. A set of wooden steps led down, turning at the end and disappearing to the right behind a supporting wall. This was the first time she'd seen this door open, and her mind wandered curiously.

Ara makes a choice...
