Zane POV

I don't know how long I held the blast, how long I kept pouring my energy into my eyes, or WHY I held it for so long... I finally stopped, nearly 15 full minutes of damn near trying to melt this Vampiric Vulture into paste, watching as he was **** to use up the energy he'd drained in order to repair the damage as it was being done. When he finally ran out, he collapsed, his body weakening, his form shriveling up, his real age showing as he collapsed and gasped for breath, barely able to hold himself up with his heavy suit weighing him down now. I pinned him there, dragging over and dropping multiple bits of metal onto him, piling it on until I was sure he wouldn't be able to get up on his own. He looked even older now, his voice was raspy as he begged me to stop, for mercy. I glared at him before turning away, leaving him for the police that arrived just a few minutes later.

Why was I feeling like this? I was angry at what Vulture had done sure, but this felt... different... I had this sense of danger... Not that I was in danger though... It was so strange... I went back towards where the Spiders were, only to see they had beaten Kraven while I was gone. Kraven however had multiple cybernetic parts now, his arms had hunting gear and weapons sprouting from the limbs, his legs hell his whole body seemed to be cybernetically enhanced! Peter suddenly ran up to me. "Do your thing... Please... That's NOT Kraven! He's NEVER been that sadistic..." Peter sounded... terrified... Whatever had happened had spooked him, big time, especially considering how Miles was currently throwing up in a nearby trash can. I went ahead and used appraise on Kraven, all three of us shocked at what we saw.

Additional Info: Little is left of the original Kraven the Hunter, what's left is a Tyrant of the jungle. The experiments of Sinister have given him a new much more Sadistic Nature, his indoctrination to stop at nothing to achieve his goals (Or those of Sinister when Kraven works for him) has been overwhelming and nearly all consuming. Kraven's body has been altered to have Superhuman Strength, Stamina, Agility, Reflexes, Durability, as well as an accelerated healing factor. His Cybernetics include arm cannons, shield generators, hunting weaponry such as net guns, numerous types of traps, an energy bow that his arm unfolds out into, as well as a cybernetic eye that allows him to see through walls a small distance. His body has also been altered to no longer require food or sleep so that he may ALWAYS hunt whatever prey he desires, or whoever Sinister sends him after. Sinister has dubbed him Kraven the Dark Hunter.

Peter was horrified at what he saw, Miles staring in shock as I glared down at the **** form of Kraven. Now more machine than man, most likely with little desire left in him but to use it for hunting down whatever he wished too. If this is what Sinister could do with just a bit of time, I was more than a little concerned about what he'd pull if he was left alone for too long, the problem was FINDING the bastard to put an end to his monstrous experiments. I watched as Peter and Miles both stayed alongside Kraven, waiting for the police to come pick him up. I explained what had been done to Vulture while they waited, Peter shaking his head and sounding outright furious at what he'd heard, asking to help bring Sinister in when I went after him. I told him I'd prefer he and Miles kept the city safe, that I'd put a stop to Sinister and these insane experiments as soon as I was able too. I made the mistake of asking what Kraven had done, only to to be pointed down the street, to where a pet store sat, the animals safely inside. Miles telling me that Kraven used an arm cannon to shoot a blast of ice at the store trying to freeze it whole with the animals still inside, Peter had reacted by jumping in front of the shot and been partially frozen for his trouble, that's when Miles hit Kraven with a venom blast to knock him away allowing Peter to get free and recover. I sighed and used Red Medic to try and help make sure Peter was doing alright, physically he was healed up, but what had been done to Kraven had clearly shaken him up.

I still felt that sense of danger. Where the HELL was it coming from?! "Zane? Zane can you hear me?" I heard in my head for a moment before replying back. "Jean? What's happening? Are you all alright?" I asked before hearing her groan in pain. "I'll be okay. Marie and Kali went with Mystique to help out in the city. Helen was left back at the mansion with a few others. We found Helen and Penny, both ****. We can't find Jubilee, Boom-Boom, Magma or Laura though, Magik is missing too, I'm just learning that Jenny and the Cuckoos are also gone. We've got some of Stryker's people captured, we're gonna try to figure out where our people could have been taken. Stay safe Zane! No one knows about your wishing power, and we wanna keep it hidden as long as we can!" Jean cut the connection there, presumably heading to help interrogate the Purifiers that had been captured. I meanwhile was getting ready to head back to the mansion, now that the attacks seemed to have all been handled and everything looked like it was under control at least. I was stopped for a moment when Luke came up to the group and said "She-Hulk is GONE! She was **** so she couldn't have left on her own, but she is missing now!" That news surprised us, and I only had one thought about it. "I saw a hooded figure when Titania was sent through those buildings, could it have been whoever that was?" Luke didn't like that idea, neither did the Spiders for that matter.

That was the moment I got a message from Betsy asking if I was doing alright, I explained what had happened, that there was this strange feeling of danger I was getting but it didn't seem to be for myself. Betsy was still in the city and met up with me herself, alongside her were Rayna, Bambi, Ororo and Kitty. It didn't take long for Betsy to try and look into my mind, when she did she found out WHY I was feeling a sense of danger. "Zane... your not gonna like this... That feeling of danger is coming from some of the others, I can't quite tell who. It seems like your connection with them is telling you that their in danger, but it also feels... muted. Like something is trying to block the connection with them." It all clicked into place, that had to be someone that was taken by Stryker's forces. It was the only thing that made sense right? So that's what we relayed back to Jean and the Professor, it worried them both that I could sense something like that through the connection. Jean went back to working alongside Emma to find the info they were looking for in the captured Purifiers and I went looking through my menu's to try and see if there was anything new there.

Generals defeated 7 of 8, Stegron, Kraven, Scorpion, Crypt, Gore, Vulture, Titania. Please find and defeat the last one to finish the mission and claim your reward.

There was another one? Wait Titania was one of them?! I spun around and threw out an Appraise at Titania, the spiders moving a bit closer to see, while Betsy looked at the new screen curiously before her jaw dropped in shock.

Name: Titania LVL: 300 Class: Fighter Damage type: Bludgeoning, Crushing
Additional Info: Sinister's first chosen General. Given a highly experimental armor made by Sinister, the armor enhanced her Strength and Durability just enough for her to be able to beat She-Hulk. The armor is mostly purple in terms of look with several golden lines running along different area's of her body, reminiscent of her Skirn armor, this suit was made to also make her more susceptible to following Sinister's orders and make her more ruthless. Sinister has tricked her into believing that her beloved is dead by She-Hulks hands, the truth is that Titania's new armor is partially made up of the Absorbing Man's remains as he perished from the experiments Sinister put him through.

Miles looked horrified, once Luke was able to see the screen as well he was in the same boat, Peter looked shaken, Rayna, Betsy and the others from the mansion glared at the screen with hatred for Sinister rising further. It was Kitty that spoke up first. "We have to find him, we've gotta put an end to this. Betsy could she perhaps know where Sinister is hiding?" Betsy nodded her head and began to gently and slowly peer into Titania's mind, the process would take her a bit of time so I checked to make sure Luke and those from the mansion were doing alright. Eventually Betsy called me over, asking me to make a connection with Titania. She explained it would help keep the red head from being influenced by Sinister or anyone else, but that it would also likely help her to know the truth of what happened with her now deceased husband. If it meant helping then I didn't see why not, I just hoped she'd be able to recover from what had been done to her, so I made the connection.

It took a little time but I finished it right in time for Jean to message us back through the connection. "Everyone return to the mansion as soon as possible! Stryker's forces were able to capture a few of our people, he intends to perform a live execution using some of the few remaining Sentinel's that are operational! We need a headcount and to send a team to get our people back." Needless to say Betsy and myself were moving pretty quickly to inform the others, we headed back to the mansion quick as we could for the time being.
