Run and Hide

The woman was about to turn around when Hawk let out a cough. "Mrs. Garcia, I think you dropped something.", he said.

Valerie didn't bother to wait and see - while the woman was distracted, she turned and ran as quietly as she could to the fire escape. She made it in a few seconds, quickly opening the door and darting inside.

She breathed a sign of relief as she heard Hawk talking to Mrs. Garcia about her kids and her family. She had managed to avoid being discovered, which was good - she had no idea how she would have explained the reason she was naked except for a collar and leash to the woman.

Her relief was short lived however, as she heard the distinct sound of a walkie talkie cackling in the floor below her. Her training kicked in, and she kicked off her heels immediately and quietly before making her way to the stairs and discreetly looking down.

To her shock, she saw a figure in combat gear, equipped with a sidearm. A lot of the other details were unclear, but they seemed to be searching for someone. She leaned back and out of sight as they looked up, and she realized the figure was headed her way.

She didn't have a lot of time - she needed to do something, and fast.
