this premise's simple. as a character in your own sub-story: the MC basically gains U.A. (Universal Acceptance). catch is, MC's U.A. only works against those that has forgo something. in this story, people, every person, animal, being, anything that's capable of decision can, and will simultaneously, and subconsciously forget, ignore all that the mind wants. whether it's directly, or not, it'll take effect. don't worry if you think you'd write your sub-story "wrong", as long as you don't actively (truly) go against this premise.
