Two hours

Just about two hours later; Jane is trying to fix herself as she is trying to look like she wasn't lying around in the dirt. Clayton just pulls up his pants and then his gun, and then he starts to walk towards the camp site with Jane in toll. As they walked for two miles in the Jungle; they made it to the camp site while Jane looked a mess, and her father is headed her way with worry in his eyes. "Oh my dear Jane, are you alright my child". As Jane tries to cover her shame away from her own father, "Yes daddy I am fine; just had a little slip and fall, that's all". While she is in her tent getting cleaned up, and into new clean clothes. Jane hears her father thanking Clayton for finding her, and making sure that she wasn't attracted by any wild animals. oh, if only her father knew what he has been doing to her. Then he wouldn't be thanking him at all; but she has been worried that her own father may not believe what actions that Mr. Clayton has been doing. As the day goes by and it starts to get darker and colder, Jane is in her tent getting ready for bed. Meanwhile; Clayton is outside at the camp fire talking to the Professor, with a plan for tomorrow morning as they look at the map to make plans. Clayton takes the opportunity to inform the Professor about his new status with Jane, and how they are now a official couple. He also informs him that Jane is not ready to say anything just yet, because she is worried that their new relationship is too fast, and she also fears that it might jeopardize their trip to study the gorillas. "Please I beg you Professor, don't say anything to Jane that I told you about our relationship with each other. She wants to be the one to tell you first; but I felt very guilty of not telling you right away, and I didn't want to keep this from you. It just felt like I was keeping a secret from you about us being together." As the Professor looks at Clayton with kind eyes, he smiles and tells him that he has a secret as well. The Professor tells him that he saw the two of them on the ship deck snuggling with each other like a couple in love, and he informed Clayton that he has his blessing for been with his daughter. "I do hope to marry her, and start a family when we get back to London. That's if you are ok with the idea Professor"? All the professor can do is just smile at Clayton while he is excusing himself to go to bed, and then he tells him that if he was very serious about his daughter becoming his wife, then he won't get in the way. Once Clayton is alone he smiles as he now has fully control of Jane, now that her father knows about their "relationship" and he approves of it and has the professor's blessing, all he can do now is smile at all the wild ideas he was going to do with Jane while they are at the jungle.
