Examine your new smartwatch

You enter your room and lie down on your bed, taking a moment to relax. You decide to figure out the features of your new watch.

"Hello, Roy," DOT greets you cheerfully.

DOT smiles and explains, "Through the smartwatch, you can ask me for assistance whenever you require. While I can't do everything that I can do when present physically, I will be able to help you with most things."

"That's pretty cool," you admit, impressed. "What else can I do on this watch?"

DOT lists the various apps available. "There are several health apps that track your fitness and well-being. One app can even help conduct your daily health check-ups, although it's still in its beta phase it's not 100% reliable compared to the actual examinations. There's also a music app, a messenger app, and a camera app."

You tap on the messenger app, and it prompts you for your fingerprint ID. After you comply, it logs you in, showing a list of the crew members.

"How would I message someone on such a small watch?" you ask, intrigued.

DOT explains, "If you tap a crew member you wish to chat with or a message notification, a large keyboard hologram will appear, allowing you to type on it."

"That's impressive," you remark, amazed by the technology.

DOT continues, "The smartwatch is integrated with the ship's system. If there are any issues or tasks that need to be completed, it will alert the corresponding crew members. Additionally, you may search for anything within the ship's database through the watch."

An idea sparks in your mind as you remember the book in Kira's room. You quickly swipe to the database app and search for its summary. A text hologram reveals:
