A Shopping Trip

The next morning, I wake up early and decide to spy on Fang Qiong using my omniscience stone. To my surprise, I see Shen Mu at her door.

Fang Qiong is sitting on the bed, reading a book.

"Young Master Shen is here to see you." Madam Shen says.

Fang Qiong frowns, "Tell him to wait outside."

"But milady—"

"Do as I say!" Fang Qiong snaps.

Madam Shen leaves the room, closing the door behind her.

Fang Qiong quickly puts on a dress that covers her from neck to ankles. She opens the door and steps outside.

"Good morning, Young Master Shen." She says, bowing slightly.

Shen Mu bows back, "Good morning, Lady Fang. You look radiant today."

Fang Qiong rolls her eyes and walks past him towards the gardens. Shen Mu follows closely behind her, ogling her every move.

They reach a secluded spot in the garden and sit down on a bench.

Fang Qiong crosses her arms over her chest and says, "Well?"

Shen Mu smiled teasingly and said, "I came to apologize for yesterday."

"Apologize?" Fang Qiong raised her eyebrows. "For what?"

"For being too forward," Shen Mu said, his eyes roaming over her body. "I shouldn't have touched you like that."

Fang Qiong's face turned red, and she quickly averted her gaze. "It's alright," she said quietly. "I understand that you were excited."

"Excited?" Shen Mu chuckled. "You have no idea."

"Young Master Shen," Madam Shen said, stepping forward. "The car is here."

Fang Qiong's eyes widened in surprise. "Car?"

"We're going on a shopping trip," Shen Mu explained, standing up and offering his hand to Fang Qiong. "You can't wear the same dress every day, can you?"

"Oh." Fang Qiong said, taking his hand and standing up. "Uhm... can my bodyguard come too?"

Shen Mu frowned. "Bodyguard? Who?"

"Chen Fan." Fang Qiong said. "He's been assigned to me by the Fang family." she lied.

"I see..." Shen Mu said, his expression softening. "Alright then. You can bring him along."

Fang Qiong smiled and turned to Madam Shen. "Can we also bring Miss Shen BingBing?"

Madam Shen looked taken aback for a moment before composing herself and saying, "Of course."
