Anna’s new experiment

“I have a better idea.”

The thought came into Anna’s clever mind, and all at once, she knew what she was going to do. She regarded her slumbering older brother, laying knocked out on her bedroom floor. A smile came to Anna’s lips.

“Oh, yeah I do. I know exactly what to do with you. This is going to be perfect.”

She couldn’t hold back a grin as she stared at the crumpled heap of a boxing champion. Her quick research on the laptop had gotten her started, and so the only thing to do was continue.

Anna’s recent trip to France naturally had a heavy focus on advancing her understanding of the language. Academic-minded as she was, she took full advantage of her time there, and loved every minute of it - but this also meant that it had been a while since she flexed the scientific part of her mind. She could use a good project. So why not turn her lumbering oaf of a brother into that project?

Her mind was made up. Anna would start “training” her **** big bro. Training him to KO easily, that is. She laughed. A scientific experiment where she got to knock out Billy - now that would be fun.

She already knew exactly what to test with this experiment, too. She decided to make it a study on the effects of association. The focus of her study - can a champion-level boxer be knocked out by viewing a picture?

According to what she read, all of his toughness would return if he was left alone for long enough. But what if she made his mind form a connection between a specific stimulus, and getting knocked out? Could she use that stimulus to return him to this easy-to-beat state whenever she wanted, even after he had recovered?

She opened up a document on her laptop and quickly began typing a document in preparation for her testing. Trying to associate knockouts with exterior stimuli. Her fingers danced along the familiar keyboard, happy to be at work again after such a long break.

Besides the fun of a new study, the fun she anticipated from absolutely dominating her dumb, annoying older brother would be even sweeter. Documenting his downfall with pages of words and tests. Making a whole project of it. It was just what she needed.

This was going to be perfect.
