Go see who it is.
Someone You've Never Seen Before
Standing on your doorstep is a tall man you don't recognize, although after looking at him for a minute he looks vaguely familiar. He looks to be Hispanic, with his dusky skin chiseled into a muscular frame. His hair is dark and short, shaped into a crew cut with an attractive goatee to complement. His brown eyes have a fire in them, and as he looks at you he seems to be sizing you up. There's an uncomfortable moment of silence before you eventually speak.
"Can I help you?" You say trying to be polite but clearly a little concerned. The man waits a minute before responding.
"Yes I'm here to see Sean. I'm an old friend of his."
"Okay then give me a moment to get him," you close the door and turn away. It makes sense that your boyfriend would have friends that would decide to drop by, but you'd be lying if you said that friends of your husband that are this incredibly attractive dropping by with no warning whatsoever didn't make you a little uneasy. You find Sean reading a magazine in the living room and let him know he has a guest.
"Oh that's probably just Javier," he says nonchalantly, as if this is something you both knew about. His manner is making you uncomfortable here, it kind of seems like he's hiding something. You follow Sean out to the door and watch as he greets his friend.
"Javier! It's been so long!" Sean says as he hugs the tall man and then gives him a kiss on the cheek. You stare flabbergasted. Did Sean really just kiss this man in front of you? Sean notices your expression and gives a small laugh.
"Honey relax! This is just a greeting where Javier's from." It doesn't look like any sort of greeting you've seen before but okay, you suppose you don't know where Javier's from or what customs there are there for that matter. Sean let's Javier in and you follow behind a little nervous. What all is this visit going to entail?
