I blushed at what Dylan had said. They were really sweet. If not a tad dramatic as well. It was true though. I’d have to help my father kill a god. This seemed to be the plan from what I’d gathered.

“Your divinity is….temporary. When you die you’ll still have all this power but freely traveling to earth won’t happen as physical manifestations. Souls roam around on earth all the time. Former royals are in this room as we speak. Just as what you’d call ghost. We will for you four and well five if Asher is on our side. Be able to make your souls physically able to manifest as practically physical again if only temporary down here on earth. Call it daddy’s favors if it’s something you want to do. You won’t need to worry about this though. Seeing as Dean is a bit more than a god and you three are demigods but Alpha’s naturally age with their Beta you’ll live around 5000 years if not longer here on earth if it’s just age as a worry. My mates smiled and nodded at that number here on earth. I nodded my head shocked by that number myself. Something hit me though what about our kids?

“Wait if we live that long what about our children?” I asked.

My mates stopped smiling and looked at me than their dads. It was a good question. The gods looked at each other and frowned.

“Yes….you four will outlive your children. They do not inherit demigod life spans. Especially with how much longer it is. With Deans spark of divine energy they may be able to live maybe 20 or 30 years more than the average lifespan which is 120 years down here by age so say 170 or 180 all together. Even your sons with that as Alpha’s will still age with their Beta. You will outlive all your children unless you have them at the ends of your life.” My father stated smiling sadly.

Me and my mates were deeply disturbed hearing this fact. We looked at each other sadly.

“Being Demigods has many perks. As well as drawbacks. You will outlive your children. Remember though Atlas has created a paradise for them. Do not fear or mourn. You will see them all again when the time comes. It’s something you must understand as **** is the natural way of things. You are cases of the unnatural. Each of you as Alpha’s have killed many to be where you stand as royals. Each opponent was a son of another. Humans outlive their children all the time down here. Even we will outlive you four. “I mean once they turn 18 and find their packs we don’t ever really see them again anyway.” Marky said softly.

We all nodded this was true. Once a pack is formed Alpha’s instincts didn’t really allow visitors. Didn’t matter if it was their friends, siblings, or parents before this. Packs stick to their packs. My father had to make a bond to me to be able to see me and the fact our dads were gods meant my Alpha’s had to be okay with seeing them. We had training to do.

“Does them being demigods affect anything else?” I asked curiously.

They thought for a moment. “No they just get powers. They still can only bond with a single beta and now bonded find others unattractive as well as others scent revolting that’s unchanged. That’s the only other real perk us a gods have that definitely isn’t something that carries over to our sons. Physically now that they’re coming to our domains it’ll make them stronger and faster for sure after a bit. Like you did after going to Atlas’s domain. They won’t need necklaces like you did either as their Alpha’s. Yeah no that’s really it.” Aelius stated.

I nodded my head.

“Alright we’ll see you tonight once you head off to sleep. Until then. Have a good day.” Ajax stated slapping Marky’s back.

My father kissed my cheek and all the gods disappeared in a flurry of lights. We hugged each other. I traced their rock hard and bigger than before abs. I sat in thought for a few moments sighing.

“Alright guys we have stuff to do today I’m sure.” I said softly kissing Kolby and Dylan’s cheeks.

“Me and Marky. I think we can stay in our casual stuff. I don’t know if you two need to get dressed up but I wanna go to Beta castle. You know where.” I told them. They nodded kissing my lips. Setting me down.

“Watch him closely pack brother.” Dylan stated to Marky.

Marky nodded. This was the first time we physically were separating since the incident. Our souls didn’t really count as our physical bodies laid next to each other. Kolby and Dylan were anxious. I nuzzled their abs.

“It’s fine guys I’ll be with Marky. There’s guards posted over there now too.” I said chuckling.

They nodded with that they walked back to the den. “Did you wanna get dressed or?” I asked him just to be sure.

“Nah.” He stated with a smirk.

“Man you guys are so tall now.” I said chuckling. Taking his hand.

“Eh it’s only a few inches different.” He said smiling. He opened the door for me to beta castle and we walked through.

The guards stared amazed as we walked by at their massive and muscular royal. The Royal they now knew was a demigod. I’d imagine everyone is gonna be this way with us now. Especially them with their two feet in height difference to other Alpha’s. He paid them no attention as we walked by. They saluted but he just carried forward. Marky was always more quiet than the other two. A physical being I liked to call him.

We entered beta castle. I felt Marky tense being in here.

“You okay?” I asked him.

He looked at me with a frown. Before nodding his head.

“Yeah it’s just……us three have a hard time being in here after finding you. Words can’t describe that feeling Dean. We truly believed you dead when we came in and saw all the blood. Your scent mixed with that smell of….blood…..just uh…..yeah. It’s not something any Alpha wants to smell on their Beta. We killed many Dean. Made many bodies ourselves but seeing you look like that…..it’s not something we’ll ever forget.” He said softly. His eyes scanned the entire room looking at the guards. He sighed loudly.

We walked down towards the storage room. Both our eyes looking at where I knew I’d collapsed. He stopped and listened for a moment. Opening the door. We walked in and saw the storage room still looked the same.

“There’s a door in here I know for a fact there is.” I stated.

He closed the door behind us and released my hand. He lifted the crates like they weighed nothing. I pressed my hand against the wall looking for anything.

I looked over and saw he had moved most of the crates. All but one. He tried lifting it but it wouldn’t move. He summoned his sword and slashed it breaking it open. We peered down and saw a latter. He looked at me and I looked at him.

He gripped my hand and walked backwards to the door. Opening it.

“Guards.” He yelled out.

All the guards quickly walked forward and stood in a line roughly 9 of them. They saluted at us.

“Have any of you seen anyone enter or exit this room?” He asked them.

All guards shook their heads. Marky thought for a moment. He began pointing at them.

“Alright you two stay here in the throne room. You 6 go around and ask every single guard who has been stationed in this castle if they have seen anyone enter or exit this room check the rosters. You go alert Dylan and Kolby we have located the door Dean was talking about they’ll know what you mean. When you 6 are done tell those two what you find out.” He ordered.

All the guards saluted and ran to follow orders. We walked back into the room. Marky began to step down the ladder. I followed him down.

At the bottom we found a hallway made of dirt. Marky ran his hands over the dirt walls on both sides. His bare feet walking slowly as he did. I summoned a star to light up the dark hall.

“I leaned I can feel tunnels in the dirt while I was hunting burrower dens looking for you.” He clarified.

We walked forward 10 feet before he stopped I noticed his hand had done past a corner. He stepped around as we saw a ladder. He walked up and moved something.

“Guard mark this tile.” He ordered.

I heard a yes sir before he rejoined me.

“Looks like we found where he moved back into the castle except the room.” I stated

He nodded understanding. I realized something.

“Marky stop.” I told him he froze and listened.

“What is it do you see something?” He asked concerned.

“No I just realized what are the chances they booby trapped this hall?” I asked concerned.

“Probably pretty decent.” He stated.

I pushed past him. He became anxious by me doing so. I summoned more stars making them dart around in patterns that hugged the wall. Rushing them forward. After 30 seconds we heard an explosion up ahead. He placed a hand on my shoulder. I sighed and held his hand.

“That would have been you had I not stopped us.” I sighed.

“I would have been okay I think. We’re demigods.” He stated with a chuckle.

“Yeah have Kolby show you where he got stabbed and almost died. I’m not losing any of you three.” I growled.

I was suddenly tapping into my instincts. My Alpha could have been hurt by this trap. I summoned water from the dirt around us. Making an ice sheet. I slammed it forward and ran with it. Marky stayed close behind me as I did. It stopped when it hit the caved in portion by the explosion. He pressed his hands on the ice and pushed forward. His arms over my head as his abs pressed against my back. I broke the ice knowing he’d have more control over the rocks. With a push the mound moved forward like my ice did before falling out of view and lit up the tunnel. We moved to the end and saw we came beside a beach. The one we could see from the balcony. It was a hole that was 20 feet above where the beach was.

“All that for a beach path?” He asked confused.

“No. It’s a secret entrance. A getaway path.” I stated.

I looked to my left and saw a path that went up. I looked down at the ground where the dirt had fallen.

“I think your powers pushed whatever block was in the way.” I stated.

He nodded agreeing.

“I’m gonna break this path. That’s a security breach that should not be.” He stated.

I nodded he turned around and with a punch against the wall the whole thing caved in behind us.

“It’s blocked by about 25ft. I’ll have cement poured into it was well from the other side.” He stated.

I nodded my head and looked up the path. He picked me up and slung me over his shoulder. My necklace dangled over his face as he chuckled.

“Onwards.” He stated.

I nodded and nuzzled his hair. Smelling his manly musk. We walked up and around the path. Looking up we saw our balcony.

“Think that’s how you guys smelled the assassin?” He asked.

He looked up the side of the hill where the castles walls met the dirt. Large marble beams supporting it through the dirt and in criss crosses down holding the rocks from eroding away.

“I think I wanna look at the schematics for this place. I’m curious how far down these beams go.” He stated in thought.

I nodded my head. “Well, we know how the assassin got in and out now. What’s next.” I said in thought.

“Well we’ll wait for the guards to report with our pack mates. What you and me do in the meantime is up to you.” He stated.

I looked down at the beach. Smiling.

“Let’s go to the beach babe.” I said softly biting his earlobe.

He chuckled. “Oh man those two are gonna be pissed when they find out I look you without them.” He stated walking down the hill now.

I laughed lightly. I kissed his neck softly.

“Oh well maybe next time. It’s your time alone with me that I promised awhile ago before that whole mess.” I said lightly.

He became happy remembering that. He carried me down to the beach. We walked back to the ledge where the path started and the now caved in entrance. He kicked his foot down and suddenly we slid down the dirt. We saw a couple people look over at us. Awed by what Marky was doing. He landed on the sand now. He walked along the hill where the path above us was.

“I’m gonna set you down and cave this in I’ll be fine trust me.” He chuckled. I nodded my head

He set me down some 20 feet away before turning around and sprinting at the wall. He punched it as hard as he could all the dirt and rock fell down over him. I gasped loudly and horrified. I saw several Alpha’s run forward to help him. Suddenly a tan hand shot out of the dirt and pulled him up. He crawled out and wiped the dirt off him. Chuckling as he looked at me. I sighed relaxing. I felt my other two mates panic before relaxing themselves far away.

Another looked at his chest. Dropping to their knees.

“It’s one of the Royal Alpha’s!” One yelled out.

He picked me up and carried me. Several people gasped and awed at us.

“Yeah me and the Royal Beta are having a beach day don’t bother us.” He snarled lightly.

Everyone whimpered nodding their heads staring awed and frightened. People listened and left us alone. He walked up to the very end of the beach before setting me down. I removed my shirt and set it aside.

“Those are called hermit crabs.” He said picking one up. A little crab with pinchers came out crawling around on his hand. He set it down back into the water.

He walked around showing me things, sea cucumbers, starfish, sand dollars as he called them. He picked up a few of them they had these white stars on the back of their shells.

“These ones are dead you can tell cause they’re hollowed inside.” He said chuckling putting them in his pocket.

I saw a massive bowl made of many colors in the water. I reached in and picked it up.

“Oooh nice that’s an abalone shell. It’s a full one too we’ll be taking that back with us for sure.” He said chuckling.

We looked around in the water pools for awhile before waking back to the sand. He helped me make sand castles and moats with them. He seemed to have an overwhelming desire to make a giant hole in the sand. Something I found fun to do as well. We made one roughly two feet deep. He chuckled seeing it as the water came in and filled it. After an hour or so we laid down together. My head on his arm as we laid in the sun. Enjoying each other’s company.

A group of Alpha’s approached us. I think they were unaware who we were.

Soon we approached the gate entrance and the guards quickly opened it.

I sighed. “Yeah I figured as much.” I said quietly.

“We’re not actually going to Beta castle bath are we?” he asked chuckling. I shook my head.

We waited a minute and walked back in. I saw the two curled up with their knees in their chest crying several feet away from each other.
