Mark

"So, who will be coming first and when?" you ask.

"Mark will be coming first," Professor Clark says simply.

"Great! I might be cumming second," you mumble to yourself.

"What was that?!" he asks you.

"Oh, nothing!" you reply. "I was just wondering about when his flight might arrive."

"He's supposed to get in at three-thirty," Prof. Clark says.

"But Sir," you say, looking at your watch, "it's after five already!"

"Didn't I mention?" he asks you. "Both their flights are arriving tomorrow! I'd pick them up, but the Dean has requested the entire staff take part in an administrative event."

Your mind then rifles through some of the other Professors, and you wish you could switch places with your Professor.

"Fine, Sir!" you finally say. "If that's what you need, that's what I shall do!"

You head toward the door when you notice Professor Clark seems uncomfortable -- as if he has something awkward to say. Should you wait and prompt him to speak, or keep going, respecting his privacy?
