Does he do anything or just leave?
The door opens
As John turns around, the door swings open to reveal the Camila's daughter, Michelle. She's holding a textbook and looks slightly surprised to see him. "Oh, hey John," she says, glancing between him and her mother. "I didn't expect to see you here."
John, feeling a bit awkward, shifts on his feet and says, "Hey Michelle. I was just saying goodbye. Today was my last day working for your dad.”
Michelle nods in understanding. "Oh, right. I forgot the summer job was ending." She smiles warmly at him. "Well, it was nice having you around. You've been a big help to daddy he loves you one of his favorite employees always says he can trust you."
John nods, feeling a mix of emotions. "Thanks, Michelle. It was great working for him it was too bad that I can’t see him on my last day but he was busy."
Camila, still standing nearby, interjects gently, "Remember, John, you’re welcome here anytime. Don't be a stranger."
He gives a small smile. "I’ll keep that in mind. Thanks again."
As he steps out, Michelle watches him for a moment, then turns to her mother. "Mom, what was that about?" she asks, curiosity laced in her voice.
Her mother, with a knowing look, simply replies, "Just letting John know he's always welcome. He's a good kid." She then turns back to the kitchen, leaving Emily to ponder the interaction as she closes the door behind John.
