It was the summer before college. I had just graduated high school and was trying to have as much fun as I could before I left for college. He had a little stand on the side walk that I had never seen before. He pulled out a small box of contacts. The box said “ Having problems seeing whats real and whats not?” The description said that the contacts would help you see what was really going in in front of you even when you were blinded by something.

“ Well what do you say? 25$ and there yours” the old man said. I had the cash but I was not sure if I really wanted to waste it on this scam. Plus I had never actually seen this stand or old man before. The old man did have a trusting look in his eyes. “ If you can do 20$ I will take them” I bartered “Sold” the old man shouted

I took the box and put it in my pocket. I walked home and went right to my room ignoring my mom and sisters.
