It dispels her enchantment, but Marie doesn’t notice.

Marie steps through the barrier, feeling a slight tingle, then nothing. She looks around, not noticing anything different, so she shrugs and walks forward. She must’ve been right, it just scanned for weapons.

What Marie doesn’t know, is that the barrier dispelled her invisibility, meaning she is now fully visible, and fully naked as she walks into the town…

Marie walks through the town, boldly down the center road. Being invisible, she doesn’t need to worry about hiding herself or anything.

She notices people staring in her direction, but she knows her invisibility spells are a bit rough, and people can usually see a shimmer of light where she is. They must just be confused by it. Nevertheless, Marie carries onward. She’s got things to do, and she needs to find some clothes, before her spell runs out…
