Another visitor

When I woke the next morning it was to the sight of Rogue and Storm leading Mystique into the bathroom to get cleaned up, I waited until they were out before heading in to do my own morning ritual and head for breakfast. Before I left though I brought up my notification from last night.

Huh... that's a surprise, nothing bad though it looks like... Apparently there was an XP reward attached so I wouldn't be doing anything with that until the lock was undone, I only had another few days to go thankfully. With that I headed out to grab breakfast and get the day started, only to find some strange new person at the breakfast table with Cable sitting across from them, a large black man with a weapon on his back and an M tattoo over his right eye, he also looked like he'd been knocked out if the swollen left eye was anything to go by. "Your Zane right? Name's Lucas, but I'm better known as Bishop around here. I came back in time because my future started to FADE away, sensors indicated it was something around this time period and when I arrived last night I learned that the Sentinel program had been shut down. Was that you?" Cable looked back at him, watching where his hands were, which is when I noticed that Bishop's hands were bound together, palms placed flat on the table. That's also the point I noticed some others in the kitchen, including a ROUGH looking Jenny who stomped out with the buttons on her shirt undone, just barely keeping her breasts from being shown off as she walked over and put herself between me and Bishop.

Cable spoke up next. "Zane did you have something to do with that?" I looked at him for a moment before opening my mouth. "Well I didn't know that would happen, I just used my power to try and make things better for mutants, I wasn't really specific about the how but I guess it was me." I barely got those words out before Bishop slowly stood up, Jenny leaning up to kiss me a moment before walking over slowly to Bishop. "I wanna say thank you. At first I thought something terrible was happening but I've got new memories appearing ever since I came here. Memories of mutant families living without fear, of a future WITHOUT Sentinels hunting us, memories of people like Stryker struggling to try and harm mutant kind and failing at every turn. Humans and Mutants living together even! Well in most places at least, the whole world isn't that supportive but the worst anti mutant people have either been kicked out or imprisoned. The ones that have escaped almost all went to join Stryker and his purifiers though. Bastard is tough to pin down."

It was at this moment that Jenny SHOVED Bishop back into his chair and grabbed my arm starting to lead me away. "That great Bishop, tell us the rest later, cause unless you want an adamantium knuckle sandwhich in a place that won't heal? Yeah I need Zane's help with something..." I found myself being practically dragged behind this shorter woman little else than a pair of shorts and an unbuttoned shirt, needless to say I shortly found myself practically TOSSED into her room a moment before she threw her shirt off and began working her shorts off... Evidentially being interrupted had only made her MORE needy as she LEAPED at me onto the bed. Good news? I was treated to Kali teleporting into the room to join in. Bad news? I was DEFINITELY missing breakfast...

??? POV

I opened my eyes slowly, that **** I was hit with having finally lessened in it's effects. I heard the door open and looked up, only to be horrified at what I saw. The Rhino had been taken through those doors last I saw before passing out, but this was NOT Rhino... The THING standing there looked like... No... Not him... I could not help myself, I shed a tear for the first time in years at what I saw. This... CREATURE had a bone white version of Rhino's armor on, it was tall and imposing as Rhino had been, but that face, those eyes... I recognized them... "Brother?" I asked before the familiar laughter of the Chameleon's filled the air, standing taller as he inspected the body he now had.

"Yes and No... I am what your brother has become! The chameleon is no MORE! The Rhino? DEAD! Now? His body is MINE to use as I see fit! This brute's WASTED his strength and power for YEARS, but with my mind now in control of all this strength killing my enemies will be so much easier. I do not think you shall be able to hunt the Spider before me THIS time Brother, for this time it will be ME who wins. It will be GORE who KILLS THE SPIDER-MAN!" I heard this creature shout out, my brother lost in this new power of his, so lost I watched as he BENT HIS KNEE and dropped in order to THANK SINISTER for these changes! My brother was truly lost... Looking into the next room I saw him, the one who had helped to capture us all, floating in that fucking tank... I prayed to every god of the hunt that would listen and made a promise as my chamber began to fill with knockout gas once more, barely finishing my prayer as I collapsed.

"He sold us out, for a cure... Offered himself up to this monster... I swear I shall do ALL I can to have my **** against him. This I promise to the gods: I shall HUNT Norman Osborn to the ends of the EARTH!"

Zane POV

It was nearing LUNCH when Jenny finally allowed me to leave the bed, having pulled me back into it again and again that whole time. I will admit Kali has some very adorable Squeals though! Thankfully my healing was already working at repairing my sore body, healing up the scratch marks Jenny had left on my back. I had barely gotten out the door when I felt myself shiver and shake violently for a moment, I must have had a haunted look on my face as Helen stopped when she saw me. "Whoa! Zane? Are you okay?" She asked with concern on her face, helping to hold me steady a moment later. "I d-don't know it... F-feels like someone just walked on my grave..." I managed to get out before steadying myself, it took me a minute or two to calm down before I was able to start walking steadily again.

"That looks like it could be a warning, perhaps your power is trying to warn you that something dangerous is coming?" Helen suggested, walking along with me as I shook my head for a moment. "I sure hope not, but now that you mention it, it could very well be an early warning kind of thing. I hope it's not gonna be that intense every time though..." I managed to get out, Helen letting out a giggle before gently rubbing my back as we headed for lunch.

Sinister POV

"You wanted a cure, but you didn't NEED one, you needed to be STRONGER! Now you should be able to deal with Spider-man as you wanted Osborn." I watched with rapt attention, the container emptying out as a pair of eyes opened up, RED eyes. "Now I have a task for you, perform it and you will be free to do as you will from that point onward. Destroy Spider-man if you want, go after someone else if you wish. BUT until then, we have a target for you..." A mouth of razor sharp teeth opened into an evil smile as details were given to this new version of Norman Osborn....
