Chapter 36 by FornicationStation FornicationStation

Oh right. Mom.

Mom and I don't get along

I couldn't tell you when it happened, at some point in my life, my mom, Beatrice, and I just got distant. If I had to guess, I'd say it was around the time that dad left. Mom kind of retreated into herself, and left Alice and I to fend for ourselves. Which as far as I can tell, was decently successful. Almost any time Mom and I were together, we would fight, so we just started ignoring each other. It came to a point that I only ever came home on holidays, and only then mostly for Alice's sake. She was never there when I needed her, so what was the point now?

Despite all this, I had for some reason agreed to come to dinner with her and Alice though. Something I had regretted immediately and still do. Especially now that Alice and I have discovered a new part of ourselves to explore. I would much rather be doing that and being around that suffocating woman. Still, Alice had insisted, and it's not like I could say no to her now of all times.

So the two of us spend some time together during the day, went to the mall and grabbed lunch, and faster than it should have been possible, we ended up on my front porch. I was wearing a loose white sheer button-down and jean shorts. My black bra was clearly visible through the shirt, and it was exactly what I knew my mom would hate. Alice was dressed much more appropriately, with a floral sundress and black boots.

I sighed, causing Alice to grab my hand. "Thank you for doing this," she said to me.

I squeezed them back. "Anything for you, babe."

Alice giggled. "Babe," she repeated. Then she got serious all of a sudden. "Just try to get along with mom, okay? For me?"

I rolled my eyes. "No promises."

Alice frowned, but before I could say anything, the door opened, and Beatrice, my mother was waiting for me.

How does dinner go?
