Upsetting Megan

As I went into the room, Megan had finally covered up as she had put on a big oversized jumper and leggings. Shit I thought, if only I’d be quicker I might had seen her change. I tried to be as casually as possible but I just blurted out ‘what was that hug all about with Tom?’. Megan looked at me confused and obviously annoyed. What do you mean? She said. I only gave him a quick hug because he’s been so kind and welcoming to both of us. Both of us I said, he’s hardly said I word to me but yet he’s grabbing your ass. As soon as I said it I knew I shouldn’t. Her face turned from confused to angry and she snapped back at me ‘are you two years old, I gave him a quick hug and he didn’t even touch my ass you jealous baby’. I tried to backtrack and calm the situation knowing I’d up set her. I apologised over and over and said maybe I was just tired as it had been a busy day yesterday. I spent the morning trying to make it up to her by unpacking all her clothes for her. I was also going downstairs to make her drinks and fetch her snacks so she wouldn’t bump into Tom again. By the afternoon it seemed like she had forgiven me and we went back to our usually happy jokey selves.
