Test Leverage on Gabriella

Dev put on a heavy, raspy voice: "Gabriella, has anything been bothering you recently? Is there anything you've got on your mind that's bringing you down?" Dev peered into her eyes to reach her soul and find answers buried deep inside. Gabriella face blanked and her mouth opened; she seemed fazed out for a moment.

Upon returning from that trance, she spoke: "Ohhh, I don't know, I just think I'm surrounded by so many smart and capable people in a high-end firm like Cummings & Ryder.. maybe I don't really belong here. I just sometimes don't feel good enough, y'know? I know I'm just a secretary but I just don't know if I have it in me to meet the requirements this firm asks of its solicitors when I eventually qualify."

Dev was shocked with how frankly she spoke about something that was clearly a blemish on her life and something she would have wanted to keep more secretive about herself. She just seemed so... vulnerable in that moment to Dev, like her inhibitions about her personal flaws were lifted and she was ready to bare all.

"Hey Gabriella, don't think like that. You wouldn't be here if you didn't deserve to be. Remember that!" Dev responded reassuringly. Despite his sagely advice, his ill intentions flooded his mind. What else could he do with her?
