As the sky transitioned to a tapestry of twilight hues, three figures approached the trio on the beach. The men, each carrying the relaxed demeanor of seasoned beachgoers, walked up to where Lorenzo—now Lauren for the day—and his cousins were gathered.

The first, with a surfboard tucked under his arm, flashed a friendly smile. "Hey there," he called out, his voice carrying over the sound of the waves. "We couldn't help but notice you folks seem to be having the time of your lives. Mind if we join in?"

Bianca, ever the social butterfly, responded with a grin, "The more, the merrier! We were just celebrating my cousin's new swimsuit debut."

The second man, toting a volleyball, chimed in with a chuckle, "That's quite the occasion. I'm Marco, and these are my friends, Alex and Jonah. We're always up for a good beach party."

Francesca stood up, extending a hand in greeting. "I'm Francesca, and this is Bianca. And for today, this brave soul here is Lauren."

Lauren offered a shy but genuine smile, feeling a rush of warmth at the acceptance in their tones. "Nice to meet you," he said, finding comfort in the easy camaraderie that seemed to form instantly.

Jonah, the third of the newcomers, nodded appreciatively at Lauren's swimsuit. "That's a bold choice, Lauren. It suits you well."
