Team Meeting

The orientation had just ended and Jasmine turned to me. "You ready to head to that track meeting then?" She asked.

I give her a slight nod in response. "Yeah, let's go." I say as I stand up from my seat. "I'll see you later." I whisper to Olivia before leaving with Jaz.

We soon arrived on the track, a couple of girls were already there when we arrived.

There was a tall, slim brunette and a shorter blonde girl wearing a lot of makeup.

We walk closer to the two girls and the brunette flashes us both a slight smile. "Hey, I'm guessing you're the other two freshmen? I'm Jess, captain of the team"

The blonde girl looks up from her phone, glances at Jaz and rolls her eyes. "Of course you're on the team."

Anastasia - Rich Girl

"It's nice to see you too, Anastasia." Jaz replies sarcastically.

"Mhm, whatever." Anastasia says, looking back down at her phone.

"Why do you have to be such a bitch?" I ask the blonde.

She scoffs and looks up at me, narrowing her eyes. "Because girls like you piss me off, you shouldn't even be at this place."

"I have every reason to be here, just because you have a problem with it doesn't you have to say it." I reply.

She smirks slightly. "I can say and do whatever I want, you can thank my family's money for most of the facilities at Oakridge after all."

I roll my eyes. "Well maybe someone needs to teach you a lesson, maybe it'll be me."

She giggles. "As if, I'd love to see you try though."

A few minutes later the rest of the team join us.

One is a sophomore girl called Emma.

The other two are a set of twins in their junior year called Rose and Ruby.

Once everybody had met we all practiced running for at least an hour, once we had done a bunch of drills and were all sweaty it was time to get showered and changed.
