Vanessa goes to the town hall to get answers

Vanessa let the man walk away, not wanting to push her luck and have him turn his stellar review into a non co-operation report. As the man left, Vanessa couldn't help but feel like she was left with more questions than answers. She dipped herself into the cold ocean to wash off the remaining sticky fluid off her breasts, feeling disgusted and violated. Her mind raced at the questions she had. What was the extent of the rule for having to be in public? Why were they doing this to her in the first place?

The only place she know that held the answer to these questions was the town hall. Her previous visit to the town hall was still haunting her, but she had little choice. Anyway, she didn't want to stay here and wait for the next FU initiative participant to come check out the newly arrived shortstack. The man's explanations only served to deepen Vanessa's fear and confusion. As she contemplated her next move, she felt a growing sense of desperation to understand what was happening to her. She knew she had to find answers, but the thought of facing more people like the man at the beach was terrifying. Vanessa put on the shirt and thought about the trip to the town hall. She would be safe if she could get back home and into her car. After all, carjacking is still considered a crime, isn't it?

As Vanessa gathered her thoughts and mustered up the courage to leave the beach, she couldn't shake the feeling of dread. She knew that the town hall was her only hope for finding answers, but the idea of facing more people like the man at the beach was terrifying. Ironically, while Vanessa was trying to avoid crows while going to the beach, she was now trying to find the route with as many people around as possible. She figured that even if someone with the app spotted her, they wouldn't do anything funny to them while other people were looking. As Vanessa made her way through the crowded streets, her mind was filled with questions and fears. She tried her best to blend in with the crowd, hoping that would provide her with some measure of safety. But blend in she did not. She was still going braless in just a t-shirt which was slowly turning transparent from the moisture on her skin, not doing much to hide her swollen breasts that were bigger than her head.

Vanessa continued walking, trying to ignore the stares and comments from the people around her. She felt like a freak show, and it was only getting worse as she made her way home. She tried to focus on her breathing and keep moving forward, but every step was a struggle against the overwhelming sense of vulnerability. As Vanessa approached her apartment complex, she felt a wave of relief wash over her. The thought of being behind closed doors, even if only for a little while, gave her a glimmer of hope. She quickened her pace, almost running to her door. She unlocked the front door and went searching for her car keys, wondering if this already counted as a violation of the "be in public" rule. Vanessa found her car keys and hurried towards her car. Once she was inside, she felt a momentary sense of safety. She started the car and put on her seatbelt, taking a deep breath to calm her nerves. She knew that the town hall was still her best shot at finding answers.

The drive was short, but Vanessa kept looking in the mirrors and over her shoulder to notice if she was being followed. Luckily, she wasn't. When Vanessa arrived at the town hall, she parked her car and took a deep breath before stepping out. The building was bustling with activity, and she felt out of place amidst the suited professionals and busy bodies. She made her way inside, trying not to draw attention to herself, and approached the reception desk.
