Kaley Simmons trudged into her dorm room, shoulders slumped from the weight of another grueling day of classes. The petite brunette's slender frame was swimming in an oversized hoodie, her delicate features partially obscured by mousy brown bangs.

Tossing her backpack on the bed, Kaley's emerald eyes fell upon an unfamiliar leather-bound tome perched on her desk. "What's this?" she pondered aloud, slender fingers tracing the arcane glyphs etched into the ancient cover. Curiosity piqued, she carefully opened the book.

As if possessed of its own will, the pages fluttered to rest upon an entry titled "Instructions for Use." Kaley's brow furrowed as she read the description of the book's causality-editing abilities, her skepticism warring with an inexplicable compulsion. She reached the final line: "To attune yourself with the Regenesis Tome, simply inscribe your name below in pencil..."

"This has to be some sort of prank," Kaley muttered, even as her hand unconsciously groped for a pencil. In a trance-like state, she scrawled her looping signature: "Kaley Simmons".

The instant graphite left parchment, the book snapped shut with a resounding THOOM, eldritch energies crackling across its weathered surface. Kaley startled back, a gasp escaping her rosebud lips.

Heart pounding in her chest, Kaley stared at the unassuming tome, thoughts awhirl. "Could it be real?" she breathed, worrying her plump bottom lip between pearly teeth. A wry smirk crested her cupid's bow as a wicked idea took shape.

"Well, I suppose there's only one way to find out..." Kaley hummed impishly. Tentatively taking the book in hand once more, she allowed her imagination to run wild with all the lascivious possibilities this mystical tome could unlock. The only question was...where to begin?
