The party intervenes

Kagha braced herself for the worst, but couldn't suppress her disgust seeing who came down the stairs. Them. The insolent white-haired elf, the horrible space frog, the sulky Sharran, and above all ... her. The leader of the party. That nosy, stupid, uncouth tiefling bard. The people responsible for her downfall. And with them, Halsin and Zevlor, locked in loud argument. Kagha stood as tall as proud as she could, showing her indomitable nature.

"She belongs to us!" Zevlor was firm, confident. "Her punishment should be decided by the tieflings. It's us who suffered the most!" "No." said Halsin. "She's one of ours. It's the druids that should punish her!" Kagha couldn't suppress a smirk. They were arguing already. Nettie and Ragh stared at each other.

A sudden calm came over the inner sanctum, as Tav the tiefling bard spoke. She briefly looked at Shadowheart. The cleric was quietly casting her guidance, while the bard performed. "There's no reason to argue!" Tav's crystalline voice filled the cave in melodious tones. "You all have your right to vengeance. Kagha here has been a ... very, very bad girl!" With a flourish she pointed at the naked druid who stood upright, defiant. She stared at Zevlor. "I've seen all the tieflings gathered outside. Waiting to take your turn on her."

Tav measured her words. "Shame on you for even thinking of that." Kagha looked surprised to find an unlikely defender. "We are all better than this." Nettie, Rath, Zevlor, and Halsin nodded. The bard's performance was impeccable. Compelling. "She deserves better than this." She looked at Halsin. "If we are going to Moonrise, she should accompany us, and earn her redemption as we lift the curse." Halsin, nodded, considering Tav's point of view. "She is but a novice now, and she will remain as we travel. And, during the journey, she may reflect on her actions." Another flourish as Tav stood in the middle of the cave. "Send her to my camp. What do you say, Kagha? Will you join me?"

Silence fell. Rath and Nettie felt a little uncomfortable, as they watched over the former Archdruid. Kagha was gloating, seeing a chance for her humiliating punishment to be lifted. Zevlor was seething, and tried to argue, but Tav's words felt right to him right now, even if he disagreed with each and every one of them. Halsin spoke, finally, elated by Tav's plea. "She may be a traitor, and a novice, but she is one of ours. Her place is in the Grove, but she deserves a chance to choose her penance. Kagha, is this what you want?"

"It is a fair punishment, Halsin." Kagha spoke, seeing her binds already slipping away, in her mind. "I accept it." Anything to get her magic back, she believed it with every fiber of her being. "Well, then. She's all yours." Halsin turned to Tav. "Wonderful, Halsin. I knew you would be doing the right thing."

Ragh and Nettie turned to Kagha, ready to remove the cuffs and the spells that kept her at bay. Tav shook her head. "Oh, no. Don't release her. She comes to my camp just like this." She spanked Kagha's ass, while the former Archdruid's heart sank and fear overtook her. "Come, darling. We shouldn't waste any time."
