Wake her

I snapped my fingers to wake Jodie.

"Look, I take back what I said about you staring at me," Jodie tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. "You can leer at me all you want. Now, I have to go."

She left the house and I got ready for Natalie.

Natalie showed up ten minutes later.

We chatted on the couch for a bit.

"Jodie told me you're a hypnotist?" Natalie asked.

"I was," I said. "Lost my job. Jodie let me live with her."

"I've always thought hypnosis was so cool," said Natalie.
