"Kingsley's in custody, and there's enough video evidence of the Hobgoblin to keep him locked up for good... nice work, everyone," Emily said, congratulating the ladies assembled in her office.

"So, what now?" Donna asked. "I mean, we took out Kingsley, but that doesn't mean his company's going to disappear..."

"...Which is why I'm going to be keeping a close eye on what goes on with both," Emily explained. "With any luck, we can use our influence to flush out any corruption still in Kingsley Industries, and if we can't... well, we'll deal with it like we dealt with the Hobgoblin."

"Sounds like your work's not done," Gwen noted. "Then again, it never is..."

"Exactly. I've still got a lot of business to get done," Emily agreed. "On the other hand, I've also been following the social media response to X'ara. She's a star -- she's about to bring in a ton of cash for us... which should really help our cause."

"That's great!" Jean exclaimed. "Speaking of which, I know I planned on only staying on to help you with this one case, but I've really, really enjoyed my time here... so, if you want to keep me on longer, I'd love to stick around."

"Glad to hear it," Emily replied as she looked over a folder on her desk. "Because if I'm going to clean up an entire industry, I'm gonna need all the help I can get... and you've been *very* popular for us."

Jean nodded. "Sounds good to me. I've got my duties with the X-Men, but if we can coordinate a schedule, I think this arrangement could work out perfectly."

"I agree completely. To keep someone like you on staff, I'm willing to be more than a little... flexible," Emily said with a slight smirk. Jean's heart skipped a beat as she caught the smirk and subtle playful tone in Emily's voice. Was she implying what Jean thought she was? She hoped so -- lesbian sex with a vampire sounded ridiculously hot to her.

"Count me in, too," Betsy told Emily. "Let's just say I'm very... curious about this place."

"Excellent! I'd love to keep you on board as well," Emily responded eagerly. "And Donna... I take it I can still count on my best photographer?"

"You know it, Em," Donna promised, flashing a smile at Emily. "I'm excited about where Looker goes next."

"What about you, Gwen? With your looks and talents, you'd fit right in here," Emily offered.

"Appreciate the offer, but I'll pass. I'm really not the modeling type," Gwen declined politely. "But if you ever need a drummer for some reason, I'm your woman."

"I'll keep that in mind," Emily chuckled. "But I hope you'll still pay us a visit from time to time -- you're a friend of the agency now."

"I'm sure I will. Hanging out with a bunch of sexy supermodels? I can think of worse ways to spend an afternoon," Gwen grinned.

"I look forward to it," Emily replied. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got plenty of work to do... the media requests I've gotten for X'ara have been overwhelming. I'll see all of you later."

Once everyone had left the office, Emily relaxed in her chair and sighed contently. With Kingsley behind bars, her biggest hurdle to tackling the fashion industry and fixing its rampant issues head-on had been dealt with. Not only that, but she'd found some very promising new talent, particularly X'ara, who seemed to be poised to become a major star. This was a major victory, and the beginning of a new chapter for Emily -- a chapter she was quite looking forward to. She checked her messages, and one in particular stood out to her -- a message from a particular top agent of SHIELD...
