She Offers Him a Drink

“Let me get you something to drink” she said heading toward the fridge

“How about a beer”

“Haha funny”

She poured him a glass of apple juice from the fridge and sat down next to him. and started to make small talk.

“So Cynthia, last time i remember you two were never on the best of terms” he said taking another sip from his drink. "How did you convince her to give you my number?"

“I didn't do much convincing really, ever since she decided to apply for a position at my company a few years ago we just got rally close” she replied

“Your company?”

“Me and my husbands, i run the marketing side and he manages the overall business” she then added "However, our clients are separate from the rest of the business, so we are like a different company altogether if you think about it"

“Also...we do this” she brings a tablet from the kitchen counter “Take a look” she shows him a magazine cover with a bikini model on it.

“Is that”

“Yep that’s Cynthia alright”

It was Cynthia posing on a beach wearing a white bikini.

"She looks stunning! Damn!" Tom said

“So you guys do modeling work too?” he inquired

“Yes but in this case Cynthia insisted she wanted to be in the cover of this magazine, and since she's got the body for it the client agreed” she replied

That made a whole lot of sense, Cynthia always wanted to be the center of attention and would only share the lime light with people she really liked.

Aiza cellphone started to ring it was Cynthia “Speak of the devil”

“Hey Cynthia, whats up” she answered her phone.

“Seriously!...now! but i have Tom over...i cant just”

with a sense of defeat she said “Fine, i will be there in an hour”

“Sorry Tom looks like i need to get back to the office as well...i am really sorry” she apologized

“Don’t worry about it”

She smiled “why don’t you come next Saturday i will be sure to keep my calendar free”

Tom thought for a moment, he had a date with whats her name Lucia! that’s it, and the dates was on a Sunday.

“Yeah i am free on Saturday”

“Great, now if you wouldn’t mind...i need to get ready”

“Of course, no problem, i will see myself out” he then left.
