Confess to Jax and Kelly (Mission End)

I stared at the billboard, reviewing the jobs on offer for today, and considering my mission. My mind was a mess. There was a voice in my head telling me to focus, to gather the intelligence I was here for an return home. Another voice asked why. Why do want the Jedi say? Why trust them? Why dedicate myself to serving the whims of the Jedi masters?

I'd never properly considered it before, and now that I was... I felt flat. Empty. My life felt hollow. I was just following the routines that had been drilled into me by my upbringing. I knew nothing outside of the Jedi Order.

I didn't know what to do. I was in a daze.

Then I heard the buzz on my communications device. It was Jax, inviting me to a morning hunt.

That sounded great. I... I missed her. I missed them both. I always felt better in their company. They made me happy...

.... I found the pair a mile away from camp, chasing after a large six-legged beast. They were both sweaty, and covered in dirt, but they were the most gorgeous woman I had ever laid eyes on. My heart fluttered. Was this love?

We outwitted the beast, trapped it against a cliffside and took it down. It was a powerful creature, and we'd all pushed ourselves to catch it. We gasped for breathe, and praised each other.

Jax pulled me into a hug and didn't let go. for a long moment she held me, her arms wrapped around me, enveloped by scales and muscles. I felt safe. I was home.

Jax slowly relaxed her grip, and the three of us flopped down by a tree, Jax laying back against a tree, with Kelly and I in her arms. Kelly looked up at me with a warm smile, while Jax hand roamed through my hair, petting me tenderly.

My thoughts swirled through my head. I didn't know what to say.

Jax interrupted them; "You can come live with us if you want. Kelly and I discussed it. You'd be welcome in our tent, our bed, every night."

"I..." I stuttered. They wanted me. Maybe as much as I wanted them...

"Is this too fast for you?" Jax asked, sincerely. I felt Kelly's hand slip into my own, her fingers wrapping gently around mine.

"No. No. I... I think you're wonderful... I... just..." I tried to form my thoughts into a sentence.

"What is it? You've seem off all morning. Whats wrong?" As she spoke Jax finger brushed over my lips, teasing me, her touch reminding me of the pleasure she had become so good at taking from my body.

"I...."

I took a deep breathe, calmed myself, and told them the truth. I was terrified, not of leaving the jedi order... but of losing them. Maybe she wouldn't accept me, but either way... I was ready to finally live my own life.

There was a long silence...

And a sudden sharp grip on my throat. Jax held me tight, for a moment I panicked, then she pulled me roughly into a kiss.

I melted into her possessive intimate touch. She needed me. Wanted me. The rest would sort itself out....
