Chapter 4

Are they?

Hell yes!

"Ah, what the hell!" Lucy said as she reached behind her to undo the straps of her trikini, "Not like this is the first time we were naked on a date."

Kyle merely shrugged, as he whipped his shirt off, tossing it onto the towel. He reached for his trunks and pulled them down just as Lucy tugged her bikini bottoms down and off, the two tossing them onto the towel as well. And once a pure white one piece was thrown onto the towel, all four beach goers were now completely naked.

"Dad really did gift you well, Kyle." Uriel said shyly, gesturing to Kyle's erect manhood. After getting looks for the two demon lords, she quickly added, "Hey! I'm engaged, remember? I was only making an observation. Besides, " she smiled slyly as she gave Levi's ass a quick smack, "I think you know my type."

"Save it for later, Sweetheart!" Levi said with a laugh as she kissed her fiancée. Turning to the others, she said, "Last couple in buys dinner later!"

"Hey! No fair!" Lucy called out with a laugh as she saw Levi and Uriel racing towards the water hand in hand, grabbing Kyle's hand as they sprinted after them.

"So, not only is The Devil herself running amuck up here, but the other demon lords of Hell and The Greek Pantheon, too?" Amelia asked as drove down the road, Amelia taking the wheel. The group had swung by Grant and Roxie's respective apartments for a change of clothes for the two, who were still too stunned as they looked around the inside of the van...

Which was over a million times larger than it looked on the outside!

"Yeah, and the other pantheons too." Roxie replied, staring at the doorway that led to a fully operational gym. "I'm sorry... How the hell did you guys do this?"

"British technology, Luv!" Trish replied with a laugh before taking a swig of brandy from her flask. "Ah! Now dat's how yew make **** dat tastes good! Not dat pig swill yew Yanks are so proud of."

"Seriously, this is like Dr. Who without those cheesy special effects." Grant said in amazement... Until letting out a yelp as Trish aimed a futuristic looking handgun at him with **** in her eyes.

"Oh, Oi know Oi didn’t 'ear yew badmouth Dr. Who, yew bloody arse Yankee wanker!"

"Trish! Stop it!" Amelia snapped, glaring at her sister from the rear view mirror as Trish put the handgun away. "Now, Mr. Rogers. Ms. Sinclair. Do you perhaps have any idea where The Devil is now, or perhaps a clue to where she could be?"

"Who knows? She could be anywhere!" Roxie said, leaning against a wall. Turning to Grant, she said, "Any chance those backstabbing traitors know?"

"Wouldn't put it past them." Grant said, "However, considering how buddy-buddy they got with the other demons, gods, and monsters..."

Suddenly a loud siren went off, taking Grant and Roxie by surprise as they looked around. Trish, on the other hand, spat out her brandy as she spun in her chair towards a computer with an excited chuckle. "Blimy! Oi knew dis scanner would work!"

"Trish, we have more important targets to take out at the moment." Amelia groaned.

"W-what's going on here?" Grant stammered.

"Dis 'ere scanner is something Oi installed to track sea monsters." Trish explained as she clacked away on some keys. "It pinpoints the exact location of the nearest one. And it appears to be at... Dead Man's Cove."

"I knew it!" Grant exclaimed, laughing as he slammed a fist into his palm. "I knew The Beast of Dead Man's Cove wasn't just a hoax! Everyone in The Organization but Hailey laughed at me for thinking so, but who's the one laughing now!"

"Switchin' to visual..." Trish muttered as she pressed a few more keys. Suddenly, her eyes widened in shock. "Blimey! Dere's a pack of bleedin' nudists prancin' around butt arse nude!"

"We can worry about your little side project later, Patricia!" Amelia groaned, "Right now, we need to focus on -"

"That's her!" Roxie exclaimed as she pointed to the redhead on the screen. "That’s The Devil!"

The van screeched to a halt.

"Oh my Dad!" Lucy said as she floated in the water, "The water is simply just perfect!"

"Yeah!" Kyle said as he swam by. Eyeing Levi staring up at Uriel as she flew up into the air to dive downward, Kyle smirked impishly as he swam slowly and carefully towards her. Once he was in reach, the mortal man reached out and splashed The Demon Lord of Envy, Levi letting out a shriek of surprise from the sudden soak, before turning to smirk at the laughing human.

"Um... You shouldn't have done that..." Lucy said with a sheepish chuckle.

"Why? What's -"

That was all Kyle could get out as a massive wave collided with him, pushing him towards the beach and causing him to land face first in the sand. Coughing and spitting the sand from his mouth, Kyle looked up to see Levi standing over him with a playful smirk on her face.

"You're new to our little group, so I'll let you in on this now." Levi said as she helped Kyle to his feet, "Never get into a splash fight with me. You're not gonna win."

"Duly noted." Kyle commented with a sheepish chuckle as Lucy and Uriel stepped out of the waves, laughing and talking with each other. "So, you nervous about the big day?"

"I dunno. Put yourself in my shoes where you're engaged to an archangel and are frightened by the possibility of her dad casting her out despite saying he wouldn't, and only nineteen of her siblings liking you." Levi said facetiously, arching an eyebrow. "Wouldn't you?"

"... Point." Kyle said, "But you and Uriel love each other, right?"

"I wouldn’t be marrying her if I didn't."

"Then things will work out in the end."

"I hope you're right." Levi said as she sat down on her towel as Kyle sat down on his. A few seconds later, she turned to him and said, "By the way, Uri and I talked about it, and we'd like you to be our best man."

"Wh- Me?" Kyle asked in shock.

"Duh! You're the reason we got back together in the first place." Levi replied, "I'd still be crying myself to sleep by now if you hadn't played therapy with me and Uriel at Dionysus' party."

"Well, I'm honored." Kyle said with a nod, "I accept!"

"You told him already?" Uriel playfully whined as she sat down next to Levi. "Rude!"

"Oh, like I didn’t see you talking with Lucy about being your maid of honor." Levi said playfully as she gave Uriel a noogie, the archangel laughing as she pulled away.

"Guilty!"

"... I fink da scanner just picked up Da 'Allmark Channel." Trish groaned as she pointed at the back of her throat and made gagging noises as the four watched the screen.

"Amazing..." Amelia whispered, amazed by what she was seeing. "And unless I missed my guess, there's also Leviathan and The Archangel Uriel."

"This is might be a bit of a problem if that really is an angel." Grant commented, "I mean, we knew her name back then, but if she really is an archangel, there's no way we can splash those two demons with holy water."

"'Oly water?!" Trish exclaimed with a laugh as she turned to Grant. "We don’t need any bleedin' 'oly water, Maite!"

"And just what makes you say that?" Grant challenged.

In response, Trish got up and walked over to a wall, pressing a button that revealed a weapons vault as she stepped inside. After a few seconds, she stepped back out with what looked like a golden orb with a red button on top.

"Say 'ello to Da 'Oly 'And Grenade Mark Two." Trish said with a smug grin. "'Armless to da average Joe, but slaps a mark of a crucifix on any demons. Dis'll render dem powerless for at least a week. Long enough to..." she made a slashing motion across her throat.

"A crucifix? Really?" Grant asked.

"It worked when Stingy Jack duped Da Devil."

"Okay, but what about Uriel?" Roxie asked. "I doubt that'll work on an angel. And even if it did, I'm pretty sure both our organizations will have us executed for killing the one thing that's not on the list."

"Don't worry, Luv. Oi got somethin' for her that'll render her just as powerless."

"Well, now that that's taken care of," Amelia said as she turned to Grant and Roxie, "where's Dead Man's Cove?"

Grant and Roxie smirked evilly as they turned to the screen, seeing the smiling Lucy laugh as she snapped her fingers to summon a flame that disappeared soon after, a bottle of wine and four glasses appearing after.

"We know a short cut..." Roxie said menacingly.

How successful is this hunt? What does Trish have up her sleeve for Uriel?
