“Of course!” Katie shouts excitedly, thrilled to be invited to a welcoming party for the new neighbor and your, supposedly, long-time friend.

“W-Wait, are you sure? It’s getting a little late,” you ask Katie, trying not to reveal the real reason you really don’t want to stay for a party at Brian’s place. But Katie insists, and you really don’t want to leave her alone with Brian, so you begrudgingly follow along inside.
