Karlach's Adventure

The one horned tiefling woke up face first in the dirt. And it felt amazing!

As she stood up, brushing the earth and grass off her body, she could not contain a laugh. She was finally free from Avernus! Free from Zariel's grasp! Free from that damned bounty hunter!

For the past few years, Karlach's life had been (quite literally) a living hell. She had been sold to the devil Zariel by a man she had trusted, had believed in. Zariel had mangled her body, replacing her heart with an infernal engine that lit her skin on fire. The tiefling had been **** to fight in the Blood War, killing demons and horrors on her patron's behalf.

However, now she had finally escaped! Sure, the victory rang a bit hollow. Whatever those mind flayer bastards had done to her, it probably was not good. She also still had that hellish machine in her chest.

On that topic, she decided to give herself a once over. Despite her pod having crash landed pretty hard, ejecting her onto the unforgiving ground, she seemed mostly intact. No broken bones, no major flesh wounds. She could still feel that disgusting tadpole squirming around in her head, but it did not seem to pose an immediate threat.

The most startling revelation was the state of her infernal engine. It seemed to have been damaged somewhat in the crash. It still chugged on, but weaker than before. Her body, usually blazing with a fiery heat, was now only warm. Sure, it made her far weaker than she had been. However, it raised a question. Could she... could she finally be touched again? Hold and hug and kiss and fuck without burning her partner?

She supposed only time will tell.
