The powerful jet of water from the firehose knocked Susie backwards, sending her tumbling down the slope back into the pit of girls. Hank laughed and high-fived Trixie Washington, who was standing next to him.

Then, while she wasn't looking, he placed his hand in the small of her back and gave her a shove, sending her tumbling down the slope towards the melee. A blast from the firehose sent her the rest of the way, driving her into the hands of Kendra and Gloria, who identified a new source of clothing and immediately set about claiming it for their own.

More of the girls were trying to escape now. Monique, the pretty French exchange student, recognising that she couldn't beat Bonnie, had given up on snagging some panties or tent cloth for herself and was trying to climb out. But another spray from the hose drove her back into the increasingly steep-sided crater, knocking her head over heels with her spread legs kicking in the air.

The spotlight shone down on them all.

The new attraction was drawing people in from all across the carnival. Five or six of the boys, including Hank, Ben and Doc Topper, had hoses now, and were carefully directing them at any girl who tried to flee, forcing her back into the slippery, soapy muddy pit at the bottom of the hole.

Every so often a new girl was shoved in. Ruby Chow, the acerbic math teacher, shoving her way to the front to laugh at the predicament of her most unruly students, was caught by surprise when her high heels slipped on the mud, and rolled all the way down the slope into the shallow pool of muddy water that was beginning to form at the bottom. Anne-Marie had her skirt down around her ankles before she could protest.

Susie tried to get out again. This time she was almost all the way to the top of the slope before she saw two or three cameras trained on her, squealed, folded her arms across her naked body and lost her grip.
