Pink sky

“Alex? Get up, you have to see this...” Ophelia brought Alex out of his state of fear with her words, which although sounded with fear, but it was enough, and with pushes of his shoulder.

Alex stood up from the floor, looking into Ophelia's eyes, which changed from friendliness to misunderstanding and fear. The room was the same, but the most important difference from what it was before was the light. Abnormal pink god rays were coming from the windows, illuminating the entire room and giving it a glamor that was not there before.

Ophelia took Alex's hand and led him to the backyard, saying:

“I don’t know what happened, but this is not normal, do you have any theories?” - They left the house through panel doors leading to a yard surrounded by a white fence, where there was a swimming pool and a small picnic area.

"I don't know, at first I thought it was a nuclear explosion." - Alex actually thought the same thing now, but looking at the unhealthy pink sky he doubted more and more

The pink sky looked so surreal, the light reflecting from the atmosphere looked darker, but it was still light outside, although it looked like stage lighting, not natural. The clouds going in their usual direction also looked different, they were more pastel pink in color and their shapes were more... lecherous?

"Umm...what's with the clouds?" - Alex asked, pointing his finger at the clouds, which in his sick imagination took on the forms of debauchery, be it something vaguely reminiscent of a penis, or a couple doing it in a 69 position.

"What do you mean? What's wrong with them?" - Ophelia looked at Alex incomprehensibly, raising an eyebrow.

“Well... this...” - Alex hesitated to say this, realizing that perhaps it was just his imagination, although the clouds really gradually took on this form, - “Okay, forget about it, the shadows just fall strangely on the clouds.”

“By the way, I think we’d better go home, in case they say something important on TV.” - They went back home, throwing the curtains over the windows, - “This color hurts my eyes.”

Ophelia walked over to the old sofa and plopped down on it, inviting Alex to sit down. They sat down and excitedly turned on the TV, waiting for what they would be told. They turned on the news channel, where they were already talking about it. A female reporter against a background of a field with a pink sky said:

“According to our latest information, this phenomenon has spread throughout the entire globe,” - They both sat with shocked expressions on their faces until the reporter continued, - “But a scientists, in particular chemists and physicists, say, we have nothing to fear, since there is no dangerous substance." - This was a relief for both friends, but they still continued to look further, - “However, astronomers say that this phenomenon is possibly associated with the fall of a comet, which, according to their own statement, should have destroyed the earth, but this did not happen.”

“Well, now we don’t have to be afraid, right?” - Ophelia looked at the guy who didn’t even think that something like this could happen on this very day, it all seemed a little surreal, until something happened that put Alex in an even stranger position.
