The white king watched his opponent from across the board, looking for any hint of the black king's strategy in his nervous expression and finding none. The white king sighed and whispered to the white queen, laying out his plans. Other pieces and pawns began to talk amongst themselves, the early unusual plotting setting the pace for the game.

Finally, the white queen nodded and gently patted the shoulder of the pawn in front of her. He turned, taken slightly aback by the unexpected honor. "You are to symbolize the beginning of an unorthodox but solid plan. March fourth without hesitation, leading the charge in place of your brother. Do not worry, we will not be far behind."

The queen's pawn nodded and loyally stepped forward, planting his flag in the center of the board and triumphantly marking it as white's. "We lay claim to this area. If any of you lasses wish to contest it, now is your opportunity to step forward."
