Staying for Refreshments

"I guess it wouldn't hurt to stay a bit longer." Carol announced and watched Ludita light up. Cracking a smile of her own, the elderly lady's focus shifted to her companion.

"That works for me as well." Mabelle answered and watched Ludita reach out to Carol's hand. Grabbing hold, she pulled Carol along. Thankfully, Mabelle had little trouble with keeping up with the pair. "They look so cute together."

Looking away, the elderly coordinator took a moment to compose herself. This was exactly what she had wanted to have happen here. Now in the moment, it felt so amazing.

"I hope this feeling continues." she thought, following along to the best of her abilities. Thankfully, it was not a long walk in order to reach the refreshment tables.

"Do you want us to pick things or do you have this covered?" Ludita inquired, watching her companions look at each other. Whispering between them for a couple of seconds, their gazes returned to her.

"We wouldn't mind the help in the slightest." Carol answered, Mabelle nodding in agreement.

What followed was the group taking the time to get cups of lemonades and a variety of sweets. Taking a seat at a nearby table, the elderly group got to chowing down.

"Those are really tasty." Mabelle whispered, Carol nodding in agreement. Turning back to Ludita, a part of her wanted to chat up with her new friend. Perhaps even schedule a date. At the same time, Caroline was no doubt getting worried.
